I will say this, there is a reason Exum went top 5 in one of the best draft classes ever. He has crazy upside, and he showed just a glimpse of that last night. Payton could end up being better but several teams passed on him from 6-10, teams that had a hole at PG.

I really fell for Payton. Think he will be a stud and can totally see why Magic paid what they did for him. However, Exum looks like a possible cross between Magic Johnson and Kobe Bryant! lol.
did you feel that way after his pretty bad open practice? Exum may be a great player, but i am just amazed at the reaction to him after 1 SL game, and even one that he didnt even dominate.
It could very well be that first time watching shock if you know what I mean. I really hadn't seen much of him, was very skeptical, and then to see him play so well may have been a factor. Plus, comparing him to that little sessions clone who was hogging the ball probably helped him immensely.
Who knows really. I just can't wait to see more of the kid. He has NO ceiling. I actually like him better than wiggins as a prospect after watching their first games. But believe me I do understand the limits of scouting based on one game. I'm just excited like everybody else. Love watching young great players! I actually like Gordon too more than most on here. I think this draft may be one for the history books.
