Hey guys, Gotti here.
Remember when I broke this signing about 5 days ago? Nobody believed me then.
I will continue to post what I hear around here for you guys. I am not asking for anyone to believe me, just letting everyone know.
Good day.

Hamilton is extremely unathletic and will be a well below average rebounder and defender. He's basically Spencer Hawes, but smaller, less athletic, and a worse shooter. And Spencer Hawes isn't that good to begin with.
Lot of different directions I'd go in before giving Hamilton a rotation slot.
THIS
I'd go small ball with Bosh/Deng before even thinking of starting hamilton.
EDIT: Not saying I want that, just exemplifies that frontcourt would probably rebound better than bosh/hamilton
Yeah Baby!

So if there is a new CBA, does this reset the amnesty clause for all franchises to use?
Thinking Miami can afford Bosh' contract due to higher cap room in 2016 with the new TV contract and/or maybe the amnesty clause in 2017 with the new CBA!
the amnesty thing might happen but it's not automatic, it'd have to be negotiated as part of the new CBA.
Ok, so they have to implement it to the CBA and then it'll reset...I can see the owners wanting that protective action reinstated in the new CBA so Miami will have a realistic chance of having their amnesty provision in 2017 ... Thank you, Mopper

I'm not a "CBA-ologist", I can't even sniff the thing, but I know Bosh's contract will look like a bargain come 2016, and this is why I like the signing.

Something BIG is brewing for 2016.
I'm thinking LBJ and Durant. But that's a topic for another day!

The heat didn't make the playoffs in 2008....

I did not remember exactly the year we were 4th or 5th seed, I did not google it. The point remains how long it's been, can't even remember.
