We need a backup 2 for real... I want Ennis as our backup 3

I don't want to over rate him but he'll be fine here.

7-9 points off the bench won't be bad.

and we will have another "LOCKER ROOM" type of guy. lol

I think the East is going to be pretty competitive next year.
Cavs, Bulls, and Indy (assuming they keep Lance) look like the favorites now.
Heat, Nets, Wizards, Raptors seem to be in that middle tier
and the Pistons, and Bobcats are up and coming.

Then we have the Knicks and Hawks...I have no idea what to expect from them

Only weak teams I see is the Magic, Sixers, Bucks and Celtics.

I am confident we win our division though....I think the Wizards will be good next year, so they might be our biggest challenge.

FTFY

I've only seen his summer league highlights, but I do agree to some degree. He is athletic but he looks way to skinny too make an immediate impact especially if he becomes 3rd or 4th option for the Cavs. That could hinder his progress and he might end up being considered a bust like Marvin Williams.

There is undeniable potential in him, you have to be blind not to see it.

He doesnt need to score in half court but i am sure he will become a great defender : quickness, long arms, jump !!! To be honest, he would have helped us a lot last year if we had that guy in the wings. He has time to improve his jumpshot etc...

He was suppose to be the number one option coming out the draft, but it looks like he might be option 3

Maybe similar to Harden. He averaged what ... 16ppg off as a 3rd option (off the bench tho) once he went to another team and became the top option, averaged 25ppg

Lol wiggins is luvky lebron is coming in

I see him as a 3rd option on offense and mainly a defense guy.

If embiid never got hurt then the cavs would be insane, so luckily they got a raw wiggins and we might be a better team than last year ( with a healthy wade ) and I could see us as the NO. 1

Hey I don't know who told you not to get too excited about those guys, but don't worry about it. I am excited about Ennis and so are a lot of other Heat fans. Hamilton CAN BE a very serviceable NBA player someday too.. he has the size and right skills to be successful.

Next year is esp. exciting to me because we can experiment a little bit (and hope we do) with new players and actually explore some potential. Unlike the past 4 seasons in which we only had one goal which was to win a championship and it's all about the system and we play for the system and use players that work well in the system. I did enjoy winning but it was a bit stifling for my taste.

The potential and experimentation is what I'm most looking forward to early on. Don't really want Wade to miss games, rather see him play less minutes per game, etc.

The pressure has certainly been reduced

Butler went for 2/9 mil. Doubt the Heat would've been willing to do that. We have Deng, Ennis and Granger there anyway, as much as a Caron fan that I am.. we don't need him. I think we need a backup 2 guard that can shoot.

Is there a news how much Chalmers and Anderson sign per season???

And how much is left with Miami's cap space???

Heat still has the $2.7m MLE for cap roomer, was it use with Chalmers or Anderson? If not, how about using it with Evan Turner to back up Wade or Boozer if amnestied???

I'm curious how the Heat use their cap space. Someone??
