I think Birch is a keeper, seems to have potential on the defensive end, needs work on his post moves. But as a 5th-6th big, he wouldn't be so bad.

He just dribbles up the court and passes it to porter or rice jr. His strengths on offense are out of the pick n roll / attack and dish off / and shooting off the dribble.

He hasn't showed much in limited time.

It's his fault he is playing not to make mistakes, but in reality he is hurting his chances to make a roster.

There were some people on this board that wanted to sign him right away before he showed anything in summer league. Like I said before, it looks like he's not comfortable setting people up and is used to being the lead guard on a weak team.

Not bad. Three blocks in first half and four rebounds playing more 5 with Orton out. His offense is raw but he has some moves. I think with that thin frame, he'll need to develop a mid-range jumper. Def. showing some promise.

Was expecting more out of Deonte, maybe its cause he has to get a considerable amount of burn with all that awfulness. Birch looks great.

The way he had to play will hurt him college because not only was his teammates bad, but coaching as well. So he never really played within a system and literally the only play Nevada ran was set a pick for Deonte and let him do his thing. Or he would just his man off the dribble and create his own looks.

Rice has 20 points on 6 of 9 shooting. Other than awful 3 point shot on break, he's been best player.

It looks like we have a couple good, young, up-and-comers.

Fesenko might be the worst big man I've ever seen.

There you go Otto. Birch a little quiet in the second half but I think he's close to getting a camp invite. Other than that, not sure who else we'll be looking at. I think we can use a quick 3rd point guard and I don't see one on this roster.

I really like what we saw from Burton on D, that is something that is not going to be hindered by him having been the best player on his really sup par collage team. But everything else........

Rice had a nice game, porter still did well even if it was not as good as the last game and I like what we see of Birch.
