Looking forward to seeing how Hairston matches up with Hardaway Jr

Maybe Hairston becomes our steal of the draft like Hardaway Jr. and our fans refuse to trade him for anyone but Lebron.

I'm very interested in seeing Hairston's defense against Hardaway Jr. today. I'm not worried about Hairston's offense, I understand that he's a chucker with bad shot selection, but he's a dangerous weapon to have, and valuable as a late 1st rounder. I know Hairston can shoot himself out of a bar fight, but I'm still waiting to see if he can defend himself in the court of trial

Hairston looked like trash last night trying to defend. He was very lazy, looked sluggish and made stupid fouls.
Mike Malone was never given a fair chance in Sacramento, and Ranadive will soon come to regret that, when he's on top of the WC inevitably contending somewhere

Lol that pretty well sums up how Knicks fans feel about Hardaway.

Is Cody definitely playing tonight?

Edit: Nevermind....found my answer on the Hornets site. He'll be playing.

I wouldn't be surprised if Vonleh and Hairston rest this game

i'd like to make a request for future summer league teams (piggy backing on something colin said today on the radio). for the love of god, can we please make sure we have at least one decent point guard on the summer league team each year moving forward? its pointless to have a summer league team that features non point guard players if you have nobody to get the offense on track and get them the ball. mcconnell has been decent in terms of passing, but he is a turnstile on the other end. dyson is a complete trainwreck.

Not looking forward to hearing Walt Frazier. His announcing irritates the hell out of me.

Agree with everything except the chucker/bad selection part. I think he does chuck at times ( maybe 1-2 a game ) but most of his jumpers are free enough for him to get a good shot off, which for him usually goes in. I would compare him to Ray Allen quicker than I would JR Smith. He wont shoot you out of 2 many games, but the problem arises when he cant shoot you INTO games.

I think more Michael Redd than Allen. His shot selection as a whole hasn't been that bad. His shot has not been falling but most of them have either come off screens or attacking the basket. None were shots he can't make easily.

Yeah, much better comparrison. His shots are usually off of a screen or wide open enough where he can make, and if you watch he RARELY forces the game, it seems as if he is quick to pass after a made basket. I think with some coaching from our fine staff he will improve his shot selection even more

I agree. His worst chucking moments tend to come in the form of heat checks after he had made a couple in a row. If he hits two or three straight he will take a quick shot out of rhythm. Otherwise he normally stays within his game.

The more I watch PJ the more I come to believe that he is JR Smith 2.0

Zeller is going to take, and air ball a three, and then get obliterated on here immediately afterwards.

big decision to make in the next 20 minutes

a) follow the boxscore, twitter and game thread, then watch the game on DVR later, but knowing results
b) go into twitter blackout and watch the game on DVR later, but not knowing results

leaning towards option b
