nope i certainly don't feel that way.

i watched almost every game in this big 3 era. i got to attend two live games in Toronto when the Heat were here. i enjoyed every moment the Heat were put through...the highs and lows.

I could see how you feel that way if you missed a lot of live performances. The year we beat the mavs I left to NYC for an internship and missed the finals and we had season tickets. I was pissed cause I was there the year before when we lost to detroit and def felt i missed out.

But i watched enough TV games via league pass. At this point I'm happy it sounds like we will keep wade. That's all I need as a heat fan.

live in Missouri and used League Pass to watch - rarely had a chance to attend games. Around 6 hours from the closest NBA team :(

Not me. Went to lots of games. Got to take my kids. Saw us hoist the trophy twice in person. Was at game 6 and didn't leave.

And yet now with a little bit of time to digest, I will say this. The 2006 championship was the sweetest. I have never seen anything like what Wade did then and likely never will. Lebron won't top that. I'm fairly confident. If he could have, we'd be celebrating a three peat and keeping everyone. And that 2006 clincher, even though it was in Dallas, was a reward to the fans of all the Heat heart guys like UD, Zo, Posey and of course Wade.

This.

people might not want to admit it but not all titles are created equal.

Our first title in 06 is by far the most meaningful to this orginization.

I don't post on hear ever but read this site at least 10X times a day. I'm in NY but have been a die-hard heat fan since the timmy hardaway days as Riley attracted me to the team. 2006 can't be topped. My friend's asked how pissed/upset I was with Lebron, and I honestly said not really at all. The only gut-punch to me was Mourning getting sick as he was my favorite and we were definitely gonna contend that next year with all the signings.

The best memory from 2006 is hands-down Mourning getting his last of I believe 6 blocks in Game 6 on Jason Terry and just going berzerk on the floor. Man you could feel that energy. That's/He was what it ACTUALLY looks like to leave IT ALL on the floor. I watch his finals press conference speech probably 4-5 times a year just for a little inspirational boost.

Only thing I'm happy about for the upcoming years: cheaper tickets. I think it'll draw the fans closer. In my eyes, it's this 'Us versus Him' mentality. This core is going to be great. Can't wait to attend more games in person and will definitely be at LeBron's return games this year. That's going to have a playoff-like feel to it. Not because I or we 'hate' him, but because you want to send a message and I'm sure this Heat team does as well. I'm excited.

Nope not one bit, I watched almost every game. I enjoyed it like sipping a good wine. Watched the highlights over and over. I knew what I was watching, I knew it was special and I knew exactly how special Lebron is.

I appreciated it, I enjoyed it, I'm happy I got to be a fan during what will be one of the most storied sports runs in history. Lots of great moments, and while everyone will apply a simplistic "narrative" about the past four years, we actually were there for the grind. The day in and the day out, the doubts, the ups, the downs, the frustrations, the conspiracies, etc.

All of these little details are going to be forgotten, and the big 3 will become like the "Showtime Lakers" or Shaq-Kobe Lakers, or Bad Boys Pistons where people say a few sentences about them to fit whatever the prevailing narrative will have become by that point. I'm actually curious to see what that will be.

Heat is frustrated now but when dust settles; the last 4 years and LJ will be remembered as the best thing that ever happened in Miami basketball.

I am sure 96-98 Bulls fans were also complaining a lot at the time but now looking back; that was the best ride they ever had ;)

I did until I remembered I watched nearly every game. I remember when we used to lose against the bulls everytime during the regular season, when we could not close games , or even when we had arguments about who should take the last shot  Good times..
