Payton, dipo and gordon are all ridiculous defensively. Caused KCP a lot of problems. Has not been anywhere near as aggressive though. Definitely a combination of the early game, tired legs from playing all 5 games as the main guy, and knowing he has well and truly proved himself throughout the week.

Liggins and harper have been awesome all week. Hope we can get them in for training camp atleast.

Adding Harper for cheap would make trading Jerebko/Mitchell for additional cap space much easier.

In: Harper at league min

Out: Jerebko and Mitchell (over $5 million in cap savings)

Don't forget that KCP tweaked his ankle in the third game and has been questionable for the last two games. Additionally, this team fell apart when Siva checked out.

His final game ended in a whimper, but I think he's already proven all he could prove at summer league. Now, he has to show up at training camp in October and reinforce it.

Mitchell should be off this roster...the guy doesn't have much game besides dunking the ball.

I'd rather have Harper over Datome and Liggins over Mitchell.

KCP was forcing way too much yesterday morning. He needs to learn to stay within himself. All in all a superb SL performance however.

Yesterday was the first time I was impressed with Liggins. He had a very good overall game, and was the primary ball handler/facilitator most of the time.

Harper was solid yet again. At this point, I think he should be rewarded with a training camp invite.

KCP basically played within himself all last year so I don't foresee that becoming an issue. SL is the time for experimenting. I agree with Mitchell, I've given up on him. He looks clueless out there and hasn't made any strides. Its evident watching him that he doesn't have the foot-speed to play on the perimeter.

What I hoped out of KCP was that he would pass the eye test especially after a great showing against OKC last year. He's showed the ability to hold up a sustained effort and be effective for multiple games, though it would have been nice to shoot a higher percentage in that Boston game. But yeah if anything he shows that he holds up his own while playing within himself while being able to branch out and experiment what he can do with his offensive game.

And yeah Mitchell is pretty much a goner for me at this point

kCP was extremely passive last season. I guess that could be thought of as playing within himself.

Yesterday he was aimlessly driving the ball into heavy traffic, forced several bad shots when there was no reason to, and didn't pass out of double teams a handful of times. My point was it was clear that he was having an off game, so he should have realized this and relaxed and quit trying so hard.

But yeah Mitchell has shown to be borderline worthless. He is extremely athletic, but doesn't seem to have real basketball skills. That said, I wouldn't be opposed to keeping him around for 1 more season to see what SVG can squeeze out of him. He has a hint of upside solely based on his athleticism, so I wouldn't mind seeing if he could develop any at all with quality coaching. His leash is very short though.

I still think Harper earned a camp invite

seeing all these young 1st round picks do well is making me depressed we lost our pick. This team is not going to be good for a few years and that is a terrible feeling. We really have had the worst luck since 2008

Your a fool. Our own former first round pick last year had the best summer league of anyone and all you do is mope. I hate that you post on two message boards and like 2 of the same teams I do. You complained like a baby through OSU 12-0 season as well.

If its any consolation Vonleh has started out 3-26, he did have a monster game rebounding though
