I'm really starting to lose interest in these events, in recent years. That goes for the NBA, too.

my interest level for all-star festivities in any other major league is approximately 0%. the NFL needs to abandon the pro-bowl all together. NBA all-star weekend is for kids. the NHL all-star events are utterly pathetic. but at least there is something on the line in the MLB ASG and guys are actually playing hard and playing to win. that's why I still tune in at least. as for the derby, i'll watch it only because bautista is in it

NBA all-star weekend is for kids. the NHL all-star events are equally as bad as the NHL. but at least there is something on the line in the MLB ASG and guys are actually playing hard and playing to win. that's why I still tune in at least. as for the derby, i'll watch it only because bautista is in it

I never watched the Pro Bowl this year, but it was supposedly a good game, for the first time... ever. Also, my boy Nick Foles won the Offensive MVP 8-) .

The NBA All Star Game might be interesting if players actually tried, but all they do is dunk for the first three quarters.

I could take or leave the MLB All Star Game. It's okay, but I'd rather watch a run of the mill Jays game.

I don't think I've watched the NHL All Star Game since Owen Nolan pointed to top corner and put it there on a breakaway  .

It's a shame Encarnacion isn't there.

I honestly find the MLB all-star game to be slightly more entertaining than the NBA or NHL ones, players actually try at a decent level before the end of the game.

Farrell is ruining the AL's chance at home advantage by putting shell Jeter at leadoff.

Whenever I feel like complaining about Buck and Pat, I should just think to myself "At least it's not Berman and Kruk."

First time I can recall Bautista doing well in one of these competitions. Good for him. Hopefully he gets the bye to conserve energy.

Yeah, he hit 11 in the first round in 2012 and made the final against Fielder.

I think he just quit before his final out right there.
