id rather spend that money on a cheap starting pg. other than being a stetch 4 boozer doesnt bring much. much woerse defensively than jones, slight edge on rebounding that jones can easily match next season with a little more effort. let jones, dmo an dhopefully clint develop. not worht it to hamper oru young bigs getting better.

besides there's better bigs out there. monroe, ersaon if he stays healthy, love and anderson.

Millsap gets a pass from me because he's from Monroe and went to my parents alma mater

Boozer chose to go to the jazz

The point is you won't have to give up anything to get Boozer if he's amnestied but you will for those other guys. I don't even think we have the assets to do it. Monroe is a RFA and Detroit will likely match unless you want to do a S&T.

i dont want any of the big 2nd round of fa's out right now but they can help in the next offseason. monroe wont be cheap and i doont think pistons will match since they got drummond and smith at 20 billion a year or w/e.

i only want ersan from that bunch

Teams under the cap would be able to place a bid on him and the highest one gets him.
He will make $16.8m this year. If we bid 8.4 then the Bulls will pay the other 8.4. (but it won't count on their cap)

He's not a stretch 4 by any means but might be a good stopgap PF without committing to a Josh Smith contract or giving up assets/picks. At least he can still rebound.

hell yes i like the idea alot

i was thinking the same 2 days ago

boozer makes so much sense right now , not at the start of the off season but right now there is no better choice for us than a 1 year contract carlos boozer

we get a solid veteran pf with a nice mid range jumper move tjones to the bench/we need alot of help in the bench

and just like you said if this does not work you can just trade him in the middle of the season

get boozer please

perfect player we need RIGHT NOW
fire morey please ,the sooner the better.....ryan Anderson is a 3 not a 4

Ugh just looked it up and a claimed player can't be traded until the following July 1, so we can't use him as a trade chip during the season. Disappointing but still worth a bid.

No ex-Jazz. If Morey does this I'll send him a hooker who will sedate him and give him a sandpaper hand job.

Talk about hateability.

Now all they have to do is talk Karl Malone and Roddy Piper out of retirement and start hitting people with chairs.
