Im beginning to believe fans want Lebron to call up Pat soon as the last game is over and say Hey, I'm thinking about leaving and going back to Cleveland. Nothing you say will change how I feel so don't bother.

In effect, i think Lebron didnt know for sure he was leaving but he had a good idea that it was possible. I think thats why Pat Riley reacted the way he did in the press conference, because Lebron gave him the impression he wanted to leave. Pat Riley was not blindsided - people far away from the situation all think they know whats happened because of some "rumblings" and rumors smh

End of the day, theres no nice way for your bad ass girlfriend to leave you and go back to her first love, no matter how nice she is about it - it hurts. You still gon be mad and try to find every single way to make sense of what she did or label her a whore.

Miami can still achieve history? You're throwing this current group of guys under the bus. It's amazing. Seriously, did Wade and Bosh leave for other teams or something? That's what some of you guys are doing, just bashing your own guys in light of being so upset with LeBron.

It would be a new team. The main core was the Big 3. This team will earn whatever they earn, but it's a new team by all accounts at this point.

 We all have our favorite's, only here is it looked down upon to be a "fan" of anyone other than Wyane Wade. Now, tell me why that is?

If you're implying I'm hopping on the CLE bandwagon, you're wrong. I literally can't root for a team I've never invested interest in, through my entire life. Will I support Lebron in success beyond Miami basketball? Absolutely.

and Miami will continue to receive my support as well, but I won't kiss Wade's ass, never have, never will. To me, particularly in the past 3 year's he's become a lazy player, that' just "there for the ride". Kind of hard to find favoritism in that but we all know had my username outlined Wadecounty or some other garbage, my posts would be more "acceptable", wouldn't they?

Wade handed the team to LeBron as leader; everyone adapted to his style so calling Wade lazy is wrong. The man destroyed his knees for this team and willingly took a back seat. I'm a Heat fan since basketball is a team sport. I don't follow individual players from team to team unlike some do. You have anger - get outside and run or something because you are seeing things in posts that are not there.

Simply discussing the reasons why he left is now considered bashing or defamation.

You can adapt and still play hard. Instead he took off games and continued to disappoint. That's a pretty big deal that you seem to have no problem overlooking. I'm not angry, I've chuckled a bit reading some of the absurdity in this thread.

Everyone has a right to be disappointed, but the entitlement mirrors that of bitter Cavs fan. What I'm saying is, when you continue to bash someone who brought 2 titles, most of you appear to be no different from the same fan base you pointed fingers at and laughed. It's a bit hypocritical in the grand scheme of things...but carry on. :P

The "big 3" was more important than the Miami Heat as a whole? Miami is still a contender in my eyes, which is all the more confusing in light of the backlash in this thread. This is the house Wade, Micky, and Riley built over the past decade, and it is still strong. LeBron leaving the "big 3" is disappointing for a lot of basketball fans, but from a historical standpoint, his path to redemption in Cleveland makes for a better mark when if it ever makes the books.

I'm locking this thread. It's ran it's course.

And the passive aggressive baiting and berating of the Heat fans on here isn't going to fly. I'd tread lightly (you know who you are).
