Wow, I've always thought how awesome it'd be to play a game on that screen! I'd still be picky about how bad the color set up on it is. lol

Doubt it. Making $63M tends to make up for being stuck in Salt Lake City, I guess.

Gordon Hayward on Salt Lake City Utah:

Yeah. Salt Lake is nice. It was an easy transition for me, being from Indianapolis. They’re both smaller cities. Demographically, it’s kinda the same. It definitely made it easier, especially since I lived 20 minutes from my house during college. I’ve never really left the nest. So going to Salt Lake was a lot easier than it would have been going to New York or L.A. or Chicago or some big-time city.

It was impressive how we tried to win him over. I hope we still have some ammo left for Stephenson or whoever else.

Our organization knows how to roll out the red carpet and make a guy feel appreciated. I'm stoked to hear we actually put effort into these presentations and that they aren't kitschy or ridiculous like sending the mascot to meet them at the airport or something. I still remember the Hornets losing something like 50 free agents (might be exaggerated, I tried to Google the exact figure to no avail) in a row during the late-90s and early-00s and how incredibly frustrating that was.

Edit: Found a link to an article from 2001. It says they were at 28 in a row that year and I'm pretty sure the streak went all the way until they moved to New Orleans http://www1.realgm.com/wiretap/142197/Hornets-Streak-28-and-Counting Dark days, man.

I imagine most of you feel relief of not having to pay a max to Hayward. So how long until a max offer sheet to Lance?

We better be. He's a hand-in-glove fit if we can find a couple shooters for the bench.

Cho should be fired if we're not after Lance at this point.
