I'm at a loss at whats going to happen now?
Every good FA seems to be gone. Am I missing anyone? I was kind of hoping something would happen to shake things up before all the FA got signed.
Anyone got anything on Bazemore? Im not too familiar with him.
so.. what now?

Re: so.. what now?
The only FAs that I'd have in Tier I are Bledsoe (RFA), Monroe (RFA), and Stephenson. We're kind of in a weird spot though: we don't have enough $$ to actually make a run at those guys (well, except for possibly Stephenson) but we also don't have the open roster spots to absorb a bunch of tier II or III guys either.
Hence, my guess is that we're looking to trade right now. We're attempting to find a 2+-for-1 deal where we can upgrade. No idea who the target is or could be though.
As far as Bazemore, he's an intriguing prospect. He's highly athletic guy with an enormous wingspan (6'11.5") who has "stopper" upside on the defensive side of the court. On O, he's been someone who has flashed ability in a lot of areas but hasn't had any sustained success at one. In SL for GSW last season, he showed promise running the PNR; he showed promised as a 3PT shooter in his only extended action at the NBA level last season with LAL; in college, he played anywhere from 1-3 on O and showed some instincts as a shot creator. He's not a finished product by any stretch, but he's still somewhat young (just turned 25) and he has upside as a legit starter or as a nice 3-and-D G IMO.

Yeah I forgot about those guys but Teague>Bledsoe and Milsap>Monroe IMO. Stephenson is interesting, but not sure I want him here. He seems like a nutcase

Yeah, Teague is not better than Eric Bledsoe. But Bledsoe isn't 6-7 million a year better than Teague.

Personally I don't see a trade happening this summer much more likely in February.
I think the next move comes by signing a backup center (possibly brand) and then shelvin Mack for around 3 million

Aren't you guys interested in Monroe? Not sure of your cap situation but he would seem to be a solid fit there.

Re: so.. what now?
Monroe has no purpose on this team, and is horribly overrated.
I'm only a fan, but if I was GM my instinct at this point would be to call Lance's agent. Tell him the offer is $54 mill over 4 years, but only if he signs in the next 24 hours. If not, you're pulling it.

Good Point, but actually I was thinking that Teague is better than Bledsoe. I think Bledsoe is overrated, but then again. I dont even have cable TV and my lack of Sportscenter may be blinding me.

Might as well go after Stephenson. Thought he should have been somebody we would have pursued under the radar while Lebron and Melo had the spotlight.

That's a terrible deal for Lance, who is a total headcase

http://www.hoopsrumors.com/2014/07/hoops-rumors-live-chat-4-pm-ct-12.htmlAny way the Hawks make a run at Lance Stephenson or Greg Monroe? If not, do you see them trying to acquire any other free agents?

They definitely want Monroe, and Stephenson remains a possibility, although I don't think they're nearly as high on him. That might be a team that submits a claim on Boozer if the Bulls amnesty him, by the way.

Re: so.. what now?
I was thinking about that yesterday, would it be good to try to get Boozer ?
Don't really know if for that kind of money (at least 4M bid IMO), it wouldn't be better to try to get Gooden...
Maybe Blatche would be a good pick.
Last guy I would give a try for the right price : Seraphin
All this... unless we find a way to get Bynum wanting to play Basketball

Re: so.. what now?
There are also rumours that the Hawks interest is coming out of Monroe's agent, who is getting away with it because he used to rep Ferry.

Re: so.. what now?
I updated the numbers, and if I didn't make any mistake, we have more than 11.5M in potential cap room, so we can offer up to 12.4M as average salary to Monroe for example.
