If McRoberts were here, I would easily pick us out of the east to go to the finals against OKC and actually have a chance to win. I hope at least we sign Boozer for 2 years

Shame he moved on, but with Lance we don't have to have a point-forward per se. We DO need a real starter there, who can complement this squad. I don't believe it is Boozer, and it sure isn't Marvin.

I will take the trade scenarios to the fake trade thread, but we really need to find a way to deal either Hendo + Zeller, or Neal + Zeller for a 2 year vet starter at the 4 that can shoot a bit and isn't a matador on D.

Oh well, his current deal is solid, especially the short years (3-years) with the team option. That's very evident that Cho don't trust Stephenson with a 3 foot pole

I hope it was great negotiation tactics and not a last resort. I don't know what was going on behind the scenes, but the price we got him at is fraking awesome! We still got the team option I wanted too.

I'm guessing we probably have around $4M to bid on Boozer, possibly a little more, but we should do it. I don't think we'd get him but it's our best option. If only we hadn't overpaid Marvin by about $3-4M.

Congrats on the signing. Glad to see the new Hornets era start off on the right foot.
I think the Hornets have the build of a top 4 team in the East.

'BlackOutBobcat', how much cap space do we have leftover? I'm assuming that we have enough to sign Carlos Boozer, CDR, and another backup PG. See, this is why I thought we should've waived Jeff Taylor but give him every opportunity to make the roster, because we currently only have 2 roster spots left, and it would be unfair not to bring CDR back but keep Taylor
