He crapped 4-leaf clovers all offseason. How would he look had Detroit kept their position in the lottery draw and had Houston not gambled on Melo or Bosh, 2 long shots by letting Parsons out of his under-1 mil contract then not matching an offer from Dallas?
So blast him if he's unlucky, and give no credit when he's "lucky". Seems you have an irrational hate for the man.
I'm honestly surprised he was able to sign Stevenson to a decent deal in the face of competition from better teams and teams in better markets.

I'm blasting him because none of this was by design. What were the Cavs chances of bumping the Pistons down to 9? What were the chances Vonleh would fall from top 5 to 9? What were the chances Houston would let go of Parsons in favor of Ariza? Cho deserves none of this credit, at all. He failed to pull of a trade of henderson _ 24 for Afflalo, he failed to trade Henderson. He had a year to prepare for this offseason and needed an inordinate amount of luck to not completely strike out. What was the plan if Lance signed in Dallas? With Hayward and Parsons off the table and Jordan recently stating how they planned to bring in another 'superstar' or big name player? I'd really like to know what it was.

Every year, there's a player that falls through the draft. #9 is a very nice spot to pick up that player. Give Cho credit for choosing the BPA.
If Houston kept Parsons, you could argue that Ariza doesn't want to sign to become 2nd fiddle, and signs with Dallas.
Sometimes luck is actually making the most of your opportunities - because you will get opportunities in life, you just need to be ready to capitalize on them.
Cho was unlucky with tanking during bad draft years and not having the lottery balls go his way. He seems to have done a decent job with a plan B, although I would have liked to see the Bobcats tank last year.
Anyways, your entitled to your opinion, just be consistent. If you're going to not give credit to Cho for "luck", then you need to not bash him for "unlucky" moments as well.
