but he was in his prime then. everybody wanted KG. Gasol turned out better for us in the long run because he's younger and healthier but KG is still KG.

Yea, I say pass on KG. Much like Nash he's at the point in his career when he just needs to retire. It's time to start focusing on developong our young guys. See what Randle can give us, give Hill his minutes, maybe bring in some promising undrafted prospects. Besides why would KG even want to play for a Lakers team that really isn't doing anything the next couple of years.

KG in his prime was one of the greatest 20 players to ever play in the NBA. Love Gasol but KG was wayyyyyyyyyyyyy better. Pau did work out as TrueSkool stated because of his age. But prime KG all day over Gasol

I'd welcome KG only because he has that spirit and would be a good role model for Randall when it comes to work ethic.

We're better off just giving Sacre more burn.

Garnett would be a great signing for cheap. Brings leadership, high basketball iq, decent defender, and a great role model/mentor for Randall. His intensity and work ethic would be great for Randall. I would be fine with Garnett finishing his career here.

I think we should find out what we have in our young guys, if a couple can show some growth it will make it much easier to attract a free agent in the next couple of years.

KG wouldn't do anything to take away from our young guys. He is a constant pro. He wouldn't get in the way of Randall's growth. He would only help. KG is not a player who gets mad about playing time. Dude is one of the best pro's you could get on your team.

Garnett is much more likely to join the other team in Los Angeles.
