I've always liked Jeff Green, but how realistic is that?

Kemba - Lance - MKG - Green - Big Al, wtf?! Would that be like the best offense in the world :crazy:

It's like 17+15+10+15+20.

Man, Kemba's going nowhere. Thankfully Utah matched that Hayward deal because had they not, if Kemba outplayed him, which he more than likely would have, they would have had to overpay him. Now his deal will be reasonable and everyone won't turn on him.

I will be watching a lot of Hornets games. I just pray MKG has improved his jumper. He could really breakout if he has. Three elite slashers on the wing. Not many teams have that.

I can't even imagine how crazy the opening game is going to be. The atmosphere in TWC is going to be deafening, like literally. If I'm lucky enough to get tickets I will be bringing some earplugs.

Great signing for you guys, I was really hoping it would happen just to balance the East. What does this mean for you guys and Chris Douglas-Roberts though? Wouldn't mind seeing that guy in a Heat uniform...

We want him back, but we're not sure what management will do. We have a glut SG's right now, but he's better than every one of them except Lance.

We're hoping to re-sign him. It's possible that we make a few trades to clear roster space at the wing position with both Gerald Henderson & Gary Neal in the fold to help us retain CDR and clear some of the pricey logjam, but if not I would be happy to see him in a Heat uniform. CDR is a fan favorite here, and was just as good as our starting SG (Henderson) last year

Man East is gonna be DEEP this year. Charlotte has the potential to do some great things and they're working their cap space well.

You got Kemba-Al-Lance at only 24-mil combined which is a steal.

I hope they keep CDR though, that guy hustles every play and he's just damn fun to watch.

and pretty much the rest of the roster short of Williams+Henderson is on rookie contracts

We're going to be rivals the next couple years IMO. I think one of us gets the three seed behind CHI and CLE

And I think it's a general consensus that we want CDR back. We just have MKG, Lance, Hendo, Neal, Hairston, Williams, and Taylor on the roster already :lol:

Did the Wiz end up getting Blair? I thought you might have some drop off losing Ariza and Booker, but then you got Pierce, Hump and possibly Blair too.

Yeah I'm hoping we pick up Blair it's looking likely but not official yet. Likely because Dallas hasn't mapped out exactly what they're going to do.

To be honest I would have preferred Booker because I like his long-two shot but Blair provided valuable minutes of the bench in the playoffs for Mavs.

But on topic with hornets you're right about salaries I'm really interested about this supposed significant salary-cap bump in 2016 though.

Oh well, I hope you guys sign Jameer (only my favorite player to ever don a Magician uniform [yes, even over Shaq, Penny, TMAC, and Nick, and I was alive for those days]).

It really is pretty awesome! The East is looking like a 2nd tier Western Conference right now, but it's all up for grabs which makes it fun for us fans.

I wouldn't mind Jameer here. I don't know where he wants to play. I'd assume this wouldn't be his first option as a backup, but after getting Lance that may change.
