I love this contract so much. It reminds me of the second Wallace contract where we basically gave him three years to prove himself and then he got his big payday.

I see this going one of two ways.

Lance keeps getting better, grows up and embraces the role as a leading guy and turns out to be a more aggressive prime Joe Johnson then after two years we opt out of his current contract after striking a long term, max type deal with him and extending him.

or

Lance stays about the same (14/6/5), becomes a SG version of Blatche, clashes with a team mate or two, a coach or two and punches Tricky in the face during a post game interview and we just cut bait after year two.

Either way we are in a great position with him - and an aggressive prime Joe Johnson would be SO sweet.

AND Tricky potentially takes one to the gob.

Have you all seen these shot charts? Very neat.

He likes that right corner three and is an well above average shooter from that spot. It's interesting to see he finishes better around the basket on the left side.

As we know, he loves to shoot and fade along the baseline. His hotspot is the left corner three.

I died laughing when I saw the gif of him slapping Cole out the gym. I know some people are worried about his antics but I love when players play with that chip on their shoulder and have that aggressive warlike attitude. I've always loved the Pistons Bad Boys team and I'm actually excited about what Lance will bring to this team in terms of fearlessness and grit. I want to see our players putting the fear in other players and getting into peoples faces.

I don't think the Cole slap was intentional. He was definitely out of control and flailing his arms around in a wild steal attempt. I don't like dirty players who go out and try to hurt people, but I love tough tenacious defenders who get under peoples' skin. He's going to do stupid things that we're going to laugh and/or groan at, but he's not the type to stick his leg under a shooter to cause him to roll an ankle, or the guy that uses his strength to knock the wind out of 5'9 guards. He just gets up in their face and bothers them, and I love it.

I could do without the flopping though. He flops more than the entire rest of the Hornets roster combined.

This goes all the way back to before we could even talk to free agents. Jordan wanted Stephenson all along, but he left the personnel decisions in Cho's hands, but I think Jordan put his foot down once things started looking leery

Look at the media and social networks, they are congratulating Jordan on the signing even though it's Cho's job, the same way they would've blamed Jordan instead of Cho if we would've tanked this offseason and regressed next season

Lance doesn't get to the line very often, does he?

Only 2.5 FTA's per game last season.

That will need to change.
