Agree with MrK and BrD, there is no way we trade away our only rim protector. He will in all liklihood sign a dirt cheap deal with us next offseason and end up being one of the best bargains in the league down the road.

I am fine with that guys. I also have doubts about Cody being able to man the 5, but then I look at his abilities as a 4 and wonder if he can really do enough to be solid in that role. Perhaps our best bet truly is to deal Zeller with Hendo or Neal for our starting 4. What about Jason Thompson of the Kings? He would be a competent starter, with Marvin and Noah backing up the spot. Thompson can also slide to the 5 as necessary.

What do you consider dirt cheap? 5 years, 20 million? 3 years, 10 million?

That's an easy yes from me. A 5M/yr center as good defensively as Biyombo will be unheard of in the new CBA

Defensive specialists like Biz and even MKG are going to be major steals. See: Tony Allen's contracts.

I agree. Defense is so undervalued we could get them for a great price.

We really need to move Henderson and/or Neal at this point. We have far to many SGs and need another PG and Maybe a swing big man who can either start at PF and backup some C minutes or backup both.

There are 3 PF's worth pursuing in my opinion and I've scoured all the teams

1) Kenneth Faried
2) Taj Gibson
3) Ryan Anderson

As far as I'm concerned we have 4 trade assets: Zeller + Hairston + Biyombo + 1st round pick 2015.

And we have filler: Neal + Henderson + Taylor + Miami 2nd rounder 2019 + Hornets 2nd round pick 2015.

If we can't get one of those 3, then keep all the assets, go with Boozer and salary dump Neal + Henderson.

Well Cho always said draft talent trade for need. It seems we have a logjam at SG and a shortage at PF, so I would not be surprised to discover they have a trade target at PF. This is a win-now team and you can't go with an 18 year old. Zeller you might go with but if you can upgrade Zeller using some of your surplus you should do it. Obviously I like Faried the best but the most realistic target (Anderson) is also the cheapest despite being the biggest risk.

And Adnerson is suspect due to his injury. If the others (and I'd include Green and J. Thompson worth a look) aren't available, may just need to ride with "Marvin and the Fresh Notes" (Cody & Noah).

How about an Ersan Ilyasova for Henderson swap? Ersan seems like he'd be a good fit next to Big Al.

I think that most of us would be OK with that, but indications are that the Bucks want to hang onto Ilyasova.

The general feeling is that the reports being leaked are an attempt to up his value. Ersan plays the same position as Henson, Parker, O'Bryant and Giannis in some matchups. We're super heavy on PFs and light on SGs.

If Ersan's health checks out I'd love to swap Gerald for him. He is an elite shooter when healthy.
