Post#1 » by Laimbeer » Thu Jul 17, 2014 12:22 am

Details to follow.
Comments to rationalize bad contracts -
1) It's less than the MLE
2) He can be traded later
3) It's only __% of the cap
4) The cap is going up
5) It's only __ years
6) He's a good mentor/locker room guy

If he's surrounded by George, Hill & CJ Miles it could work pretty nicely for them.

Stuckey & Miles don't have the upside of Lance but they don't have the downside either, they might do fine replacing him in the aggregate.

He had star potential but pistons ruined him, happy he's gone for his sake!

Good replacement for Stephenson. This could mean they are gonna let Stephenson walk.

Will is the longest tenured piston now.

Oh I thought Stephenson was a RFA. I assumed IND could match.

Hopefully not for long. I desperately want to dump him and JJ.

Nope. 2nd round picks are unrestricted after 4 years.

Good pickup for the Pacers. I didn't like our "team" without a strong coach, and it made me sick of players who didn't seem to try all the time. Stuckey has some skills, but I'm happy he has moved on.

I honestly don't think the Pacers will be any worse swapping Lance for Stuckey

He should have left one contract ago, but Dumars literally made him an offer he couldn't refuse.

What are the terms? A one year deal seems pretty crummy for Rodney. And the Pacers didn't have much money left either.

I think pacer fans will be suprised by him,hes still a decent defender, passer, ball handler and can still get to the rim.I really do hope he can resurect his carrer in indy.
