Matrix is mentioned as a long long long long long shot to return to the Mavs.

Dallas seems to be following the formula of the 2010 NBA Championship season, but I just don't see how they can go into the season with Raymond Felton as the starting Point Guard, they need to move him.

My bad, 2010-11 NBA Champions, the season did start in that year.

Mavs once did fine with Brian Cardinal as backup PF, I'm sure Lewis can be a warm body to throw out their occassionally so the Mavs will have 5 on the floor. Jefferson and Lewis at the minimum are fine pickups. Probably wont see a combined 20 minutes on the floor when team is healhty

He was the Heat's second best player in the Finals. It doesn't say that much, though.

What's with all these weak comments that are just begging for And-1's.
Is this a forum for basketball discussion or a popularity contest for little girls?
I like what the Mavs are building and people are foolish to sleep on them this season. I think they are a real threat in the West and are a team that no one will want to face in the playoffs. They need to add another vet PG and I think they will be ready to go.

Re: Rashard Lewis Sings With Dallas
Good signing for min deal. Since Dirk is taking less like Duncan, I expect him limit his minutes to 20-25 like Duncan. Means half the game you will see more B.Wright and Lewis is good as a backup since he's only making min and good for playoffs since he hit big 3's for the heat in the playoffs. He got playing time because he showed hustle and some D or else Spo would not have played him at all. But he played over other guys who didn't play defense like Beasley and James Jones. Very experience player that has already made his money and wants to help win more rings. Need to package Felton + S&T Marion for a legit PG or backup SG.
Felton/Harris/Mekel
Monta Ellis/Ledo
Chandler Parsons/R.Jefferson/Crowder
Dirk Nowitzki/B.Wright/R.Lewis
Tyson Chandler/G.Smith
