Predict Randle's season average

Post#1 » by Laker_Kid » Thu Jul 17, 2014 3:22 am

I think Randle has a very good opportunity to develop quickly being able to start right off the bat.

i think he could go 16/8 with this squad. we have no one else there to score at the post. i hope he gets a nod for ROY.

13.8 PPG / 7.3 RPG / .8 BPG / 1.1 SPG / 2.7 APG

Scoring could be higher, but I'm starting my guess lower.

16pts-7rbs-4assits seriously though I think with Kobe really mentoring him, plus with him wanting to bring up the ball and start the offense he could get those numbers. I really think this kid can get at least 4 assist a game, I wish I could be a fly on the wall for those practices. Kobe will prob test his handles so much he will have no other option, but to improve in that area. Isn't that kinda dope though? We got a 6'9 250 balling handling beast...this up coming season is going to be fun. Better than last season that's for sure.

He won't be bringing up the ball for us. He's really only doing that in summer league because he's simply better than everyone else on the team. He definitely isn't going to be doing that with Kobe around.

I don't know but he'd better start rebounding the damn ball already .

After two games where his conditioning was off, come on man. 6 rebounds in just 20 minutes today. That's 11 per 36. Don't really see anything to complain about yet. I'll take his 10 rpg (which is generally what translates best to the NBA level) in just over 30minutes at Kentucky in 35+ games than I would on 2 summer league games.

When his positional opponent Drew Gordon grabs 10 in even fewer minutes? This was a blowout game too - it mattered.

Not like rebounding is hard to come by in the summer league - plenty of guys grabbing a ton in limited minutes. Some are more than doubling Julius' rebounds in fewer minutes.

Devin Ebanks (yes that one) and Tyler Ennis, the 6'2" point guard, is even averaging more.

Conditioning? Did he just come off knee surgery?

Didn't all these guys go through the draft process too, just a few weeks ago?

So Randle misses the first summer league game, and suddenly he's way behind everybody else in conditioning?

Some of these guys signed late too, but what are we talking about, a week that he missed? And suddenly he can't rebound the ball? And he was in the practice facility working out too.

Excuses.

wow way to make a big deal out of two games.

again I think i'll take the nearly 40 game sample size over the two summer league game sample size you're freaking out over.

I don't watch college bball but I was under the impression he was more a SF than a PF in the NBA but I only see lists where they put him at PF for us, so I'm confused. Anyways, if he's a PF then 12-8-1-0.7
