This is what happens when you use single sources, Broussard!

At the time, he was right, though. Obviously, we circled back around after losing Lance.

Hm? That's the only way he CAN sign here. If it's not a S&T, we can only legally sign players via the minimum salary exceptions.

Something weird happened and my computer took 2 or 3 hours to post that! :o

Yeah I hit send then went to dinner when I got back the little spinning beach ball was still going and I hit reload and then there was the story about Stuckey signing. Anyhow he's a bargain and I thought he'd sign for more with some other team. 8-)

your dinner was 2-3 hours!!! haha just messing with you.
This is actually a decent signing. Yes losing Lance will hurt but Stuckey will get 2nd unit burn and should be able to slash and create his own shot.
Hopefully he isn't a ball hog though.

Not an outstanding acquisition because we all know he's a downgrade from Lance. But not a bad move either. I did not even considered him as a possible FA target since the Pacers do not have much financial flexibility, but a definitely good value for money.

Stuckey could be that slashing guard to complement the shooters. He still has no perimeter game and I don't see him getting better at it in this offseason to be reliable. He's a physical player though and knows how to use his body.

Now it looks like CJ Miles gets the nod to be the starter. I like how the roster looks like and most importantly, Larry kept the core. Wouldn't mind another addition though as Scola and Copeland to me are expendables with all the signings and re-signing. Larry likes Scola though.

I know im a bit late, but I love this signing for one reason. CJ Miles can start and do a good job, and go off for 20+ every now and then, but I was worried about the times when Miles shot wasn't falling, who was going to come in and replace him? That answer wasn't clear, and we were likely looking at Solomon Hill, who I have high hopes for, but is still an unknown. Stuckey clears that up, as he gives us that go to option if Miles doesn't have it. And similar to Miles, Stuckey can look unstoppable when he is on.
Paul George is a superstar. Deal with it

Stuckey is, as most posters have stated, a downgrade from Lance Stephenson. He doesn't have the same explosiveness and perimeter shooting, but he is I think a better ballhandler. He could slide over and give you minutes at the one, not to mention the fact that he's strong enough to guard the three.

He's a cheap acquisition, which is a good thing. And he has the potential to provide you with a ton of flexibility in the rotations you could run. Stuckey with Miles should minimize the production slide you should experience with the Stephenson void.

That being said, moving Stephenson could mean a significant production breakthrough for Paul George. It could also result in other players raising their level of play. Chris Copeland is a versatile scorer who was utilized last year, this could be a big year for him.

I think the Pacers will be no worse than one of the top three teams in the East.

So who to start?

I was leaning towards CJ Miles but Stuckey's style of play is more "closer" to Lance than CJ is. He's of the same physique and can handle the ball well, not just that good in the perimeter, but is more steadier.
