Would have preferred a thread title like: Brad Mills.........really?

Bullpen arm or Buffalo until rosters expand.

I want to joke and say this is going to be our only move between now and the Non-Waiver Trade Deadline, but we all know I'd just be potentially setting up an ironic pun when that statement become an actuality.

For now, he's probably Sanchez's replacement at Buffalo.

But he's also likely moved to the front of the line in case a callup is required for the rotation.

Next up: Jesse Chavez, Yan Gomes, and Henderson Alvarez. Oh wait, they would actually help.

The game now is to predict the next reject re-acquisition. I vote for Nestor Molina. I would say that the Jays won that deal except that they won Santos.

Apparently the Jays DFA'ed Deck McGuire to make room for Mills.

That's surprising.

Designated Deck McGuire for assignment to make room for Mills, that's depressing

Not really. It's incredibly unlikely anyone picks up Deck. He's definitely not shown enough to deserve a 40 man spot on anyone's roster really.

Apparently he will be added to the 25 man. Curious if it means someone else is about to go on the DL.

Brad mills made a few filler starts for the first place Oakland A s so surely he could make a couple of emergency starts for the Jays. He seems like he would be a suficiant enough AAAA player if needed, either as said above as a Buffalo filler or temp big league spot start

I like the Yan Gomes comment posted earlier. Liked him when he was here.
