I am ok w/ that move. Big Baby brings energy & he knows Doc's system.
What about Hedo?

I didn't want Davis back due to thinking he'd get at least 2/3 of the MLE, but for the min, why the hell not.

Still would prefer a defensive big

Hedo's use kind of died with the acquisition of a stretch big in Hawes.

Also big baby is our 12th player, so we have a max of 2 roster spots left, can't imagine we spend one on Hedo

Thanks for the update. I don't think we need Hedo this year, I also would like to wait until after Christmas to add players if we need to.

Only thing good about this signing is the money he's being paid to come back. Baby Davis better than nothing.

After watching every Clipper's game last season I believe big baby can add a lot to our team. He showed signs of effectiveness with his pick n pop ability. Also bear in mind that he didn't have a pre-season with us last season so hopefully the coaching staff will bring out the best in him.

Not the biggest fan of this, but for the price I can't be mad. If only Ed Davis waited an extra day to sign, I feel like we could've nabbed him now that the Lakers have a logjam at the 4. All he was looking for was a place to showcase his talents for his next contract and although he wouldn't get as many minutes on the Clips, him being a solid role player on a contender would've gotten teams willing to throw more money at him next year.

i would assume that one is going to a PG and the other to a big.

Im gonna predict that unless there is somewhat of a blockbuster deal happening, it is safe to say that the last 2 spots are going to delante west (unless he absolutely bombs the summer league) and Hollins ( not a good 3rd big, but a decent 5th big)
ehhhhh f it.

I'd rather keep at least one roster spot open for the season in case somebody gets bought out, but Hollins would be such a pointless signing IMO. We've had him for two years and he's done absolutely nothing. At that point I'd rather gamble on Okafor or someone like Udoh. Emeka has some serious injury concerns, but that would be perfect for him on our team. He'd get spot minutes here and there and could get PT in games where either Blake or DJ get in foul trouble. We could use him as a low post defender when we go up against teams with good bigs. As much as I love Hollins, he's just a waste of a roster spot at this point.

We should still go after Udoh in my opinion would be solid injury insurance. Bring him on to be our just in case Hollins role.

Yea, I think keeping the Hollins spot open makes sense. 4 bigs is quite adequate, and while injuries can always happen, we have pretty healthy bigs. There's no rush to sign Hollins, him or a similar caliber player could always be found.

I thought Hedo played well last season. Ideally, the Clips could find a good wing defender for the final spot left, but I can't think of anybody that really fits that description that is available

I'm happy to have Davis back and for so cheap. I honestly thought he was looking for more money.
I've been an LA Clipper fan since 1998 and that will never change. I hate our new logo and jerseys!

the actual maximum roster is up to 15 men. we always leave one spot open for 10 day contracts in case of injuries, thus i said two spots max ( for us)

sorry for not being clear enough.
