Gambo reported on the radio again today that his inside source said the $44/4 offer for Bledsoe is still on the table. Also, it sounds like Bledsoe's agent is being ridiculous and saying both sides are far apart. Yeah, if you are asking for 80/5 you aren't even on the same planet as the Suns!

5 years for 80 mill ..uh no.

The max the Lakers can offer is 4/63 - same as Hayward I believe.

But the Lakers have these on the books
Kobe -23.5
Randle - 2
Young - 5
HIll - 9
Boozer - 3
Lin - 8.3
Clarkson - 1m
Nash - 10m

My math: 61m.

Salary cap is 63.
They cannot offer the MLE as they are under the cap

JDLAW correct me if wrong - but the Redneck is wrong.

Correct now- look at the date of the tweet.

EDIT: bwgood beat me to the punch.

Couldn't the Lakers just waive Nash and offer Bledsoe a backloaded contract?

They would be able to offer him about $6M in the first year and give him 4.5% or $250K raises each year. That gets him a contract of $25 M. I think that would be matched.

Sounds to me like he just wants off the team and wants the Suns to trade him. If that is the case, fine with me. He can leave and go be happy somewhere else. The Suns should work out a sign and trade for him with someone. I would rather have a player that wants to be on the Suns instead of a player that does not want to be here. The Suns have so many young players so I think they will be fine.

No! Each side in the CBA negotiated their rights. Everybody knows the rules. If you own the team, you don't give up your rights just because a player might want to be elsewhere and still get paid and throws (or his agent) throws a tantrum. You stick to your guns because you realize you are holding all the face cards and you do not want to send the message that if a player in a contract negotiation does not get his way, he can stomp his feet and the team will send him away. This is just juvenile.

If Bledsoe wants to get paid next year, he will sign a deal, if not, he can play on the QO and then leave and go wherever he wants. However, if he does so the most some team can offer him would be is 4 years and $63M assuming someone wants to pay him that and assuming a team wants to deal with his idiot agent.

Well yeah I know they are in control of him and he does not have many options. However, I think him at more than 12 or 13 million per year tops becomes a bad contract. I do not want him to have a max contract because that is just too much. He is not Lebron or Durant. He is not a max player.

Rich Paul. What an a$$hole.

I`d like to trade Bledsoe to Minnesota for Zach Lavine, if possible.

OK-thanks for the responses bwgood and JDLAW.

I have a feeling Broussard's "multiple sources" may just be Bledsoe's favorited tweet lol.

Nice of you guys to finally join the conversation, I called Paul out yesterday with no support!!!!!!! Jerks. I'd gibe bled up to 50 over 4 but that is the absolute max he should see from the suns. IT pickup is looking huuuuuuuuge right now.

Bledsoe/Thomas/Ennis
Dragic/Green/Goodwin
Tucker/Warren/Mook
Kieff/Tolliver/Randolph
Plumlee/Len

AFAIK 13 players can be on the active roster, so barring any injuries Ennis will spend most of the season in D-League.

McD has shown an excellent ability to find and get cheap undervalued talent. A player that wears the undervalued label is the Cavs Anthony Bennett. He's not a bust yet, but definitely had a very bad first year. With Love going to the Cavs eventually, Bennett will never get starters minutes. I would like McD to jump into the Cavs-Wolves negotiations and somehow get Bennett.

Yeah, see ya later Andrew Wiggins. Have fun in Minnesota. This is gonna happen really soon. No way it does not. Not with Lebron making it public he wants Love. It is amazing the power Lebron has. Pretty crazy.

Lebron straight up left him out to dry, just like Napier and Bosh/Wade. Wiggins will just be his latest victim. Unless...we can somehow save him from this fate with a three-way trade.

I still think it's hilarious that in a "can't miss" draft, you would have been flogged and destroyed for suggesting the Cavs traded the #1 pick to Minnesota for Love. I would have even before the draft and even before LeBron, because proven NBA talent beats potential 100 times out of 100.

Now that LeBron is there, oh hey, let's deal the #1 pick AND other stuff for Love......and it's treated as a legit possibility.

NBA talent wins out. Always.

You know who else was laid out to dry? Bledsoe. If they were "boyz", why no discussion with Cleveland? What is the saying? Can't pick your friends but you can pick your nose?

I think the chances of Suns getting Wiggins are practically zero. However as I posted above, I would like to get Anthony Bennett. He still has time and ability to develop into a very good player.

So once Kevin Love leaves, which next superstar FA can we hope to bring to PHX?

Durant :D

Bledsoe has no one to blame except for his agent. He spent all this time jerking Lebron around and during that time the well dried up. Now no one has money to sign bledsoe a max or overpriced contract and he is desperate. Take what you can get Bledsoe.

Cmon Rich get Lebron to start asking for Bledsoe so we can get Wiggins. Only way you are getting paid you desperate douche

well of course everything changed when they got LeBron. That's obvious. In any other circumstance they would be nuts to Wiggins for love. But when you have the best player on the planet in his prime you make the win now move.

Make perfect sense to me.
