Post#1 » by 80sballboy » Fri Jul 18, 2014 12:18 am

vs, Miami Heat at 8:30pm on NBA.com. :D

Winner goes to quarterfinals on Saturday, loser plays one more game before going home.

Not on NBA.com.

I'm going to catch it on the Watch ESPN app (ESPN3.com on the web). Don't know if CSN is showing it.

Wiz were promoting that it was on NBA.com. ESPN3 is just as good.

7-4 Wiz early on. Otto is 2 for 3. Orton missed an easy putback, had a turnover on an outlet pass and committed an offensive foul on an illegal pick.

I think LeBron made his Cleveland decision after he saw Napier play in Orlando.

This a terrible f-ing display of basketball. Wiz up 12-4 with around 3:00 left. Pretty good defense but Miami just missing every open shot. Rice also missing a lot and shooting a lot.

It's been so much fun to watch our SL team this year! Porter has looked like a high draft pick. Rice has looked like a terrific one-on-one player (D-League?) -- here's hoping he gets the message and turns his talents towards becoming an NBA player, as he won't be able to do in the league what he does vs. guys several rungs lower on the food chain. Definitely talented kid, however, which is something to build on.

Khem Birch has been a revelation! I'll be bummed if he isn't on the Wizards this year. He has a shot to be an excellent NBA player, and I'd love it to be with us!

As to Burton, he's been given every chance, but he has not looked good, alas.

Porter looks so good

Just the length in combination with how he runs the floor..the mid range shot...really awesome. If he can improve his handle and three ball...dare I say....I won't say it...

He was playing a lot of 2-guard out there with Rice at the 3.

The backups are just horrible. Heat cut it to one.

Cassell seems to like him a lot.

If I read correctly, he said he would add Birch to the roster if it were left to him. Maybe he takes his high praise of Birch back to Wittman and convinces him that he's deserving of a roster spot.
