Quite possibly, but I'm not sure there is concrete proof of that.

The American Government has supplied weapons to Afghanistan, Iraq, Iran and Yemen.

The American Government was caught selling weapons to the Mexican cartels.

It's not uncommon practice.

I'm getting information from slightly different sources than you are on the matter Sik.

And the practice of supplying third parties is not at all uncommon, you're absolutely correct there. Those third parties destroying passenger aircraft is, however, a completely new can of worms.

Why get defensive?

I'm definitely no expert, but his just happens to be one of the very few rabbit holes I can go down and get the "No Spin" info. We've been monitoring the situation over there since before the Crimea thing happened, and we've had guys there doing very unofficial work in the region going back a long time as well.

The plane was meant to be a Ukranian supply, they targeted it not knowing it was a civilian transport. They're going to have to answer to a lot of people for this and have put Russia in an even more tenuous situation. It'll definitely be interesting to watch from my POV going forward

I'm not getting defensive, I just don't want a political debate on a sports forum with a member of the American military.

The info you got, could be just as accurate as the whole Iraq has weapons of mass destruction "episode", unfortunately 1.4m+ innocent Iraqi men, women and children have been slaughtered in the ensuing conflict, which was based on American "No Spin" info which was unequivocal BS.

This has been on the news for over 14 straight hours in Australia, obviously it's world wide news but also because it has been confirmed that 28 Australian citizens have lost their lives, this saddens me deeply, and the finger pointing does nothing to bring those people back nor honour their memories.

I imagine that you guys have people doing unofficial work on the ground over there, as it's nothing new for the American Government to poke their nose into other countries business, in fact the other day, Germany ordered America to get out of the country because they caught American spies, spying on their government.

Pro Russian rebels, in Ukraine, shot down this plane, and people are gearing up to blame and go to war with Russia/Putin over it.

Those people are called "separatists" for a reason.

As an Australian, I am proud of the close relationship our countries share, I am proud that we have a long history of mateship through both peace and conflict, and I'm proud that other countries look for our collective help in times of need.

That said, if more Aussies have to die because America gets a hard on for faulty intelligence, it is not acceptable imo.

They also had to be trained by someone, aka the Russian government. You can't use a surface to air missile and shoot a plane down thats 33,000 feet in the air without some sort of training.

Found this in their FAQ.

Lawn Chairs
Lawn or folding chairs are not permitted inside Knights Stadium.

Blankets are permitted.

Have fun out there. I went to my first game on the 4th of July. Beautiful park! We had a fantastic time and got to see the fireworks afterwards. Fun time all around.

They shot one down in 1983 I believe and war didn't break out, but I think we will put some crippling sanctions on them if that is indeed the case.

It wasn't Russian military, more like rebels.

I don't think Russia cares about what America will do.

What makes you differentiate the two?

@mr_jasonjones
Former Charlotte exec Rod Higgins is sitting with Kings execs. He was also in the draft war room. Just helping out Kings say, no job coming.

Didn't realize he was in their draft room, wonder if he wanted Stauskas.

Oh yeah, I like the first evening practice that is in the main stadium at Wofford. I used to go to the practices on the practice fields about 10 years ago and I got some autographs but not in the big stadium. If you come down be sure to go eat at The Beacon.

Double Chili Cheese A Plenty please!

Took my wife there, fiancee at the time, for her first time last fall. I told her how if you didn't order in time that they would just move on to the next person and leave you out in the cold, at least when JC was still alive. So she was a little nervous to order so she just told me to order what I get for her. I told her it was way too much food for her. She said no, I will eat it all (which for a small woman she can put down some food), so I just smiled and said OK. When they pushed our trays out she went from shock, to disbelief, to being somewhat angry that she got that much food. Oh it was wonderful.
