As for the draft this year, remember we have two. 1) The lottery for all incoming rookies. 2) Auction style draft for everyone else.

I've devised a simple draft lottery that I think I'll execute sometime next week. 6 teams did not make the playoffs. They will all be placed in a lottery to determine draft order.

The last place team will get 20 balls.
11th will get 16 balls.
10th will 10 balls.
9th gets 5 balls.
8th gets 2 balls.
7th will get one ball.

And we draft in the order their balls come up.

To make it simple, I will assign the balls as follows:

Gordon Shibe Doges: 1-20
Twisted Mango: 21-36
Old No 7: 37-46
SA Sugarkids: 47-51
TK: 52-53
Istanbul: 54

I will run the lottery sometime next week, after the draft, to determine draft order.

Bww - Can you please confirm who owns which picks (after last seasons trades) and season end standings?

Well, we haven't run the lottery yet, so I'm not sure the order of picks, but let me see if I can sort through the trades that were made on the league site.

The problem is, many managers didn't read the rules and went ahead trading picks that don't exist. :banghead:

There are only 2 picks per team each season, both for the rookie draft. But a lot of people traded picks in fictional rounds 3 through 7. I guess the only fair thing to do is to ignore the picks in those rounds.

The other problem is that Woody was involved in trading some picks, and then he decided to quit, which really messes things up. The only fair thing, I think, since we are eliminating his team, is to eliminate the picks he traded for. As for picks he traded away, those picks will be awarded to the teams that traded for them, and their order will be based on Woody's standings at the end of the season.

So, here is what I have:

JFrost has an additional first rounder, which he received from Woody. He loses his second rounder which was traded to Woody.

MyLo has WB's first and second rounder, and OldNo7's second rounder.

I think that's it. Did I miss anything?

By the way, I'm looking to trade for first round draft picks in this year's draft, so hit me up if you're interested:

Did woody make the playoffs? If not, where did he rank (how many lotto balls do I get)?

He ended between TK and Istanbul, so you get 2 balls from Woody.

Gordon Shibe Doges, Twisted Mango, Old No 7 - Are any of you interested in my 2 1sts (one lotto, one not) for your lotto pick?

Going to keep 5 out of Parker, Lee, Thompson, Valanciunas, Westbrook, Gibson. Make me an offer on one of them (or Deng, Boozer, Pau).

My keepers are going to be:

Kyle Lowry
Lebron James
Chandler Parsons
Andre Drummond
Josh Smith

If anyone want Deron Williams... he is for sale. Make me an offer ($)... best offer gets him.

Since everyone seems to be posting their keepers, here are my probable keepers:

Michael Carter-Williams
Stephen Curry
Dirk Nowitzki
Nikola Vucevic
Wesley Matthews

I may keep David West or Brandon Knight instead of Wesley Matthews, so if anyone wants to trade draft picks or money (preferably money), let me know.
