It has already been confirmed by reliable sources close to the club that LFC have absolutely no interest in Balotelli ... Personally, I agree 100% with that decision ...

well don't have anyone to root for in the premier league anymore since I was on the Suarez bandwagon and hes on my team now.
How is this team looking to be this year. Will they make noise in the CL?
Deep into that darkness peering, long I stood there wondering, fearing, Doubting, dreaming dreams no mortal ever dared to dream before;

The rebuilding will continue ... We are hoping that we will not get a very tough group, and that we will get to the knock-out stages ... It will be a valuable experience for our young players ...

Liverpool are one of five clubs linked with a bid for French World Cup star Antoine Griezmann, according to Spanish daily Sport .

The 22-year-old Real Sociedad winger is attracting interest from PSG and Monaco but Liverpool, Arsenal and Chelsea are also said to hold an interest in the fleet-footed attacker.

Griezmann is open to a move away from Spain after an impressive World Cup.

According to Tony Barrett (The Times), LFC are targeting the following players, in addition to Adam Lallana, Lazar Markovic, Emre Can and Rickie Lambert:

Dejan Lovren (central defender)
Ben Davies (left fullback)
Loic Remy (striker)
Divock Origi (striker)

According to some journos with good connections to the club (like Tony Barrett from The Times or James Pearce from the Liverpool Echo), we have entered the transfer window with net transfer funds of £60 million, due to the new TV deal and the Champions League money ... If you add the £75 million from the sale of Suarez, and the £21 million from the sale of Borini & Assaidi, it seems that we will have £156 million available for transfers ... So far, we have spent £57 million on Lallana, Markovic, Can and Lambert ...

That is crazy money. Don't Tottenham it up. If they don't have the guy(s), they should just sit on it.

I think that at least £40-50 million of that money will be kept for the next transfer windows ... As it stands now, we are pursuing Alberto Moreno for the starting left fullback spot, and he will cost in the £17-18 million range ... It seems that the negotiations with Loic Remy are well underway, and he has a release clause of £8 million ... We have already agreed the fee with Lille for Divock Origi at £6 million, with some £3 million success related incentives on top of it ... We have made a £20 million bid for Dejan Lovren, that was rejected by Southampton, and it seems that we are not willing to go above that ... There haven't been any more reliable links to other players, so it looks like those 4 players will be our remaining signings this summer, if everything goes according to the plan ... Therefore, there will be money left after September 1st ...
