Looks like not everyone hated him.

I just went to Paul Georges twitter for kicks. Scroll down about halfway (NSFW)

what a freakin dumbass. why does a guy whos already known for impregnating a stripper follow pornstars on his twitter account. pacers must be embarrassed

PG is a pretty good guy overall, nice guy, lives in my neighborhood here. He impregnated a former stripper, alright cool, thats not mine or your buisness. Lance was just at a strip club after he signed with Charlotte. The point is, no the Pacers arent embarrassed, he made a mistake, i'm sure no NBA player has ever done that before, and if we really begin to care who NBA players follow on twitter, then we are taking these players personal lives way too far.

Supposedly, Lance was at Vault, which is not a strip club. It is club, a DANCE club. It's well within the law as is a strip club![/quote]

So then what's up with him being on Kik talking to these young chicks and sending kissy faces to dudes that catfished him?

Good Lord, that's why I said supposedly. Plus, who gives a crap if he's at a strip club? Millions of men, athletes included, visit strip clubs. It's not illegal!

No one cares that he was at a strip club. I messed up formatting. My comment was more towards PG getting in these precarious situations, the KIK with these young girls. Getting catfished by some guy that put out these pictures that PG sent him.

He got cat fished, though some of the pictures that the person "claimed" came from PG don't even look like him. But anyway, what are you asking about them?

"It's just disappointing,'' Bird said. "When I'd go to practices, when he was on, he was by far our best player. And he worked. If you work as hard as he does, you're going to get better. I'm going to miss the kid, no question. And he's growing up. That stuff he pulled in the playoffs, that was out of the blue. But I knew how good Lance was and the value he brought to our team.''

Because his off the court choices were mentioned in this thread and the guy I replied to I believe said PG lived in his neighborhood and said he is a good guy. Mistakes happen, so I was just wondering about his other off the court immaturities, for the lack of a better word. Showing that it wasn't just the impregnated stripper.

I'm sure he is a good guy, but at some point these mishaps that have happened should come into question. For the sole reason that media members have basically said it caused a down turn in his game. I am the last person to care about an athletes personal life, good or bad, for the sole reason I have no relationship with them besides them entertaining me. When they stop entertaining me as well I get irritated with it, which is what happened with PG. These of the court issues have caused issues in his game, so I was more or less saying why does this keep happening with him. These mishaps stacked up (hopefully they stop) and hurt his game, I hope that changes because I enjoy watching him play the game of basketball.

It effected his game for a little bit yet, but he got back on track. What people don't realize is PG was 23 years old when last season started. He is going to make some immature mistakes, as evident of the catfish and getting impregnating a former stripper. The bright side is he says he will be a part of the kids life and wants to be there for him, and the cat fish, well I don't really care about that very much. The bottom line to me is, he should have been in college last year, think about the dumb things everyone does in college. He eventually got his game back on track, as evident of him averaging 23/8/4 in the playoffs.

Bird really liked Lance, and saw the potential/talent he brought to the team.unique This was an amazingly unique set of circumstances that allowed us to get Lance. Think about it! Indiana was in a pinch on $$ due to the luxury tax level. BUT, we first had to make a stupid bid on a RFA that everyone knew would get matched, versus trying to sign a deal with Parsons (which if successful we might have kept). Then the LBJ decision, freezing the market while we had to wait on Hayward, then the fading options of other shoppers....which gave us the opportunity to sign a premier talent. We will look back on this in the future and realize how lucky we were to get this guy!
I continue to wait...and hope...for the return to Hornet's glory.

Here is my question to Charlotte fans, how is your wing unit going to work? Right now I see MKG/Lance/Kemba starting. This just seems like to me opposing defenses can clog the lane making it tougher on them to drive and forcing three average to below average shooters to hit 3 point shots. Lance loves to drive the ball, but if the lane is clogged how is it going to work?

Looking over the stats page I had forgotten how truly awful both Neal and Henderson were in the playoffs. I am so damn thankful we signed Lance.

So the goal is to turn Lance into a 3 pt shooter in Charlotte? That doesn't sound like the best use of his talent and abilities to me.

why is pacer nation guy trolling the hornets forum so hard? have fun with Rodney stuckey and cj miles next year man. look at your favorite teams why are you even on their forum lol??

p.s. paul George is NOT a superstar, hes wildly inefficient and cant lead for anything, without david west you guys would've been sunk by demarre carrol and mike scott in the first round lol

paul George is nothing more than a pacer version of rudy gay aka not a superstar, to make the claim that one is a superstar he has to make the people around him better.... ya know kinda like how lance was your best distributor and penetrator. come on man just stop

You misunderstand. We had a pretty successful season despite not having a starting-caliber wing who could shoot from 3. Of course Lance won't play a Korver role, but just having a guy that teams can't leave open from deep will be an improvement.

I was asking a question about how Lance was going to fit in here.... Is that trolling now? If it is, a mod can ask me to stop and i will leave, but I don't see how that is trolling. If I wasn't a Pacers fan, you wouldn't have a problem with me asking that question, but since i am a Pacers fan, it apparently is trolling.

Lance is going to be our secondary creator and will replace Henderson as our third option on offense. Depending on how efficient he is with his possessions he might even supplant Kemba as our 2nd option. Most importantly though he gives us someone other than Kemba that can break a defense down and create offensive opportunities. That's something that we've been lacking for a long time.
