Kind of sums up the supporters of EG... "he may be a bottom 1/3 GM, but he got us to mediocrity!"

Everything else aside. Sounds like this might be the common ground.

We may never agree on how we got here or where we are going.

But some how we are here. Lets enjoy it.

If mediocrity is top 3 in the East next year with cap room for 2016. 2nd round and two wins in the playoffs last year. Increasing winning percentage the last 4 years. Paul Pierce choosing us. Rumors of KD coming home.

Wall, Beal, Otto with Nene, Gortat, Blair, Humphries etc on a top ranked defensive team with a top pick and roll combo and improving offense.

Then give me more mediocrity. I'm enjoying this thing called mediocrity.

Thinking probably 44 wins again and bounced in the first round...

It depends on the match-up, like this past season. We were one game away from playing Miami in the first round...trust me the mood would have been a whole lot different if we were getting swept by Miami as opposed to playing that pathetic, injured Bulls team that couldn't score worth a damn.

hell, they were fortunate not to play the Raptors in the first round...they owned us last season for the most part.

They could very well make the ECF next season...the East could possibly be even more wide open and pathetic than this past season.

Chicago wasn't looking pathetic. They looked good enough that the Nets intentionally tanked a bit to avoid playing the Bulls. I do however think that the Bulls were a better matchup for us.

I think that unlike last year, Chicago and Cleveland would both put us away quickly. But, it could happen with some injuries to either of those teams. But likely we are a mid-40s win team that gets bounced in either the first or second round.

Yeah. Well I'm thinking 54 wins. Division Title and a return to and possibly getting out of the 2nd round.

Wall returning to the AS game. Beal joining him. And Otto having a break out year and proving he is legit.

Wall 23. Beal 21. Otto 21

As for facing MIA in round one. That would have been fun bounding those clowns.

TOR. I wanted no part of last year. This year. I think we can handle them.

I wanted CHI. Some didn't.

Wow - Beal jumps to the All-Star game and Porter becomes a legit starter... I actually hope you are right.

But if I were a betting person, I would want at least 20 to 1 odds on that one. I think you were 13% over on your prediction last year. I am now going with 47 wins when I make my prediction :)

Edit: And if healthy, I don't think we want any part of Chicago this year.

Gotta necrobump this thread for this article:

http://bleacherreport.com/articles/2160 ... n-2014-15/

Cruise over to who the Executive of the Year is (not to mention who is Most Improved)...

* waiting for milellie111 to splooge all over this thread now *
If you can fill the unforgiving minute
With sixty seconds’ worth of distance run,
Yours is the Earth and everything that’s in it,
And—which is more—you’ll be a Man, my son!

Washington Wizards fans might bemoan the mere mention of Ernie Grunfeld in this realm

Right. Well, BR has got to crank-out the content so anything goes

I forgot about this. Didn't that character order an assault, cover up a murder, and lie under oath? Jack Nicholson taken down by Tom Cruise? He went to jail in the end, right?
