Honestly, when I watch Thomas' highlights, it reminds me of Leandro Barbosa, with a more complete offensive game. I know the general consensus is that Thomas is or can be a black hole on offense, and I can see that, but I'm very impressed with his range of offensive moves. Pretty impressive and no doubt he will be a fan favorite.

He is a much better passer than Barbosa was, and he is also better at creating his own outside shots.

Bledsoe was leaving a playoff team - some suggest a contender for a team with a rookie head coach and one that had won 25 games the pervious season and was projected to be even worse. This was the information he had to go on when he arrived. I can understand his lack of enthusiasm at the time.

On the other hand IT is leaving a team what won 25 games for one that won 28 games and had chemistry issues for a team that had great chemistry and won 48 games with a guard oriented attack. I would be enthusiastic also if i could escape Sacramento.

I guess that makes sense, but I also think he wanted the opportunity to start which he'd never get in LA. At the time it sounded like he thought he was going to Orlando (who was worse) and was disappointed he ended up in Phx. But I can understand a lack of enthusiasm. But what kind of contract could he have expected had he stayed in LA last year?

What time is this presser on? Thought it was noon - isn't that now in Phoenix??

He's a good pickup and Bledsoe's replacement, he doesn't want to be here.

Kinda cool he'll be wearing #3. Now the Suns will have #1-#4 reserved only for point guards.

(That's assuming Ennis will play with #4 during the season also, not only in the SL. Can't be sure though, maybe you guys retired it for Gortat. )

Not sure if you guys seen this but IT's numbers are very similar, and in some stats better than Kyrie Irving.

I really liked how genuine he sounded during his presser. I think he's going to be a great addition to the team. Can't wait to see this team in action next year.

I think Kyrie is probably the most overrated player in the league. Funny thing is, the ONE thing he is really good at, is ISO, which is not really something you want or need to pair with LeBron. He is a terrible spot up shooter, which is also not really a good trait to have when playing with LeBron.

What's interesting about this video, is that it was done before last season, and Isaiah Thomas was MUCH better this past year and Kyrie was worse.

Check out their comparison this past year. IT has a much better fg % and more assists. They are pretty close in most of the other categories. IT also has a better PER and TS%.

I think Kyrie is just more flashy, but he isn't much of a PG at all.

Is it wrong that Isaiah is already one of my favorites?

and who let that fan blogger Dave King from Bright side ask a question during the presser. He has no sources!

I think its cute that our guards wear 1, 2, and now thomas is 3. Did he do that on purpose or has that been his number?

nope. IT is awesome. he's one of my favorites too

Dave King seems like a hardworking guy. I used to love BSotS I just came back here because realgm works better on my ipod :x

hopefully DK wasn't the guy who asked that question about Bledsoe (after Horny already made it clear questions should be directed to/about IT and Tolliver). but if that was him then i'm sure he'll learn from his mistake, he's prolly new to pressers. i would be nervous if i were him. anyway BSotS is a great site.

Haha my post was mostly sarcasm. No it definitely wasn't him. That guy had a nasally voice and I don't know who it was but McD put the smack down on him. He seemed legitimately pissed that the guy asked such a stupid question.

That was an awesome press conference. Changed my feelings towards both.

Elliot Perry had a nice stretch here as a fan favourite, everyone roots for the little guy - except Thomas can drop 30 on any give night.

(Except Nate Robinson. I hate that guy).

Thomas will be awesome for us, another potential 6th man of the year candidate.
