Both our new big-man acquisitions are upgrades over Book. Humphries is better and cheaper. Blair is better, cheaper and younger!
Of course I'm happy for Trevor to get a nice contract. I'm guessing his agent had a 3-year deal for a little less $$ and used it to drive Utah's offer up some. But I don't think he's being drastically over-paid. Some of you do, but hey -- who cares? We have more important things to waste our time on, right?
Still... I'll be interested to see what kind of numbers Booker puts up for Utah.
Edit -- just noticed the post that his year 2 is essentially unguaranteed. However, with the nosebleed rise in the price of FAs, he'll probably look like a bargain next year!
