i can easily see him losing his spot on the roster altogether if he shows poorly.

i just hope he tempers his game down and plays under control...learns to smile and have fun...play more relaxed...all his injuries are the type players get when pressing.

it's LIFE, it happens all the time...

Rose SHOULD be good to go based on the injury and recovery time. Whether he gets injured or not is another story, and it's really unknown whether we are calling him injury prone just because two freak injuries happened around the same time, or whether those injuries are a harbinger of long term health concerns.

If everything is true from what everyone is saying, like how Derrick looks great and all, I wouldn't be surprised if he becomes the starting PG.

I think Derrick is a lock even if he is not playing well...Too many interests on this one...Especially for the NBA and Adidas. Thibs as an asst. coach also helps.

Love, BG, Cousins
Davis, Drummond

one of beal, Hayward or Korver will make the roster for floor spacing. So that leaves one spot:

Rose vs. Lillard

Who will get selected and who deserves to be selected?

Rose will get selected because of the Thibs connection.

Why are you listing Cousins as a PF though ?

I'm thinking that but I'm also thinking Thibs wants him to knock more rust off by playing in live games.

Yeah, but I'm selfish. I don't care HOW he makes the team - I just want him out there and playing and getting over all that initial crap before the real season starts.

We're all excited to see Rose of course but if he's healthy, I think he could make the team not only because Coach K likes him but also because the team could use some veterans. Lillard is still young and I could see Curry and Rose on the court together to have multiple ball handlers.

But that's probably what will happen. There's no way Thibs would risk what would happen if Rose got cut - which is lock himself in his room for 2 months with nothing but gummy bears.

The last time they did a broadcast of this nature, they basically showed the teams just running drills mostly, though they did show little bits of scrimmages here and there. Then on the side they just grab coaches and players for interviews.

It's not the NBA though.

I agree with ManuelRam, Rose shouldn't bump someone deserving.

Also agree with Ram there is a good chance he's not good enough.

And while that wouldn't be great, I don't think it's a huge deal. In fact if I had to guess, those other players should actually be better today. Doesn't necessarily mean anything for November and beyond.
