I wonder if he has enough money now to buy an alarm for his house. I doubt he wants any more break-ins.

Good to have Nick back.
We need scoring off the bench. And Nick can create his own shot.

one of the few who I hated for some reason and thought of as chucker....he still a chucker but he ours now and he's become a fav. of mine as well :). Glad to have him for the next 4yrs, I find it odd when non-laker fans hated this signing, I mean seriously some people thought this signing was worse than Meeks signing. People really let their hate blind their stupidity. Even if Young is a chucker, he's still heads/shoulders above Meeks, at least when Young tries defensively there some respectability there, Meeks looks like he still playing high school ball D and he's trying his dam best at that. We've needed this type of chucker for a while, its a shame we're not contenders, this guy should open a few blind haters eyes.

Yes he's a goofball, but he's our goofball, and he did care about the colors like no one else, and he did put on some weapon shows on occasion including the late season games where he and MDA totally wanked our lottery improvement chances leading to...Julius Randle. So their fates are intertwined in a very direct way.

Since I'm actually really optimistic about Julius Randle's skill set, drive, and beastly possibilities, I have to give the man who wanted to be a laker like no one else credit for not wanting to lose.

Still wish it was less years, but no complaints beyond that. Guy wants to be a laker, can't have enough of those type of players.

lol this gens Caballos?? Cedric isnt half the offensive player nick is. the best thing he was great at was those quick tip ins without dribbling to gather himself. hell Tony delk scored 50 once. I saw those van excel jones sedale cedric and come back magic play those days..it was quite entertaining..kobe was on the bench on his black and white game boy.

You are so wrong.

Kobe NEVER played with Magic.

And Ceballos was a great offensive player who could score twenty points without having any plays run for him.

Ceballos also consistently shot well over 50% from the field.

Nick's the better one on one player, but Ceballos was "a thousand times" more efficient (see I can exaggerate too).

ok so if hes more efficient why is he considered this gens cedric? its just a bad comparison to begin with was my point. different players overall, there are no plays ran for nick...its moreso give him the ball for iso. you can say they are both 6'7 nba players.

Aside from the fact they play similar positions, have similar abilities, and both came from other teams... Nick Young is also this Generations Cedric Ceballos, because like Cedric, he's a player with a personality that gives fans some hope as one great Lakers Era ends and a rebuild begins... He's a smoother...

In fact, the FO is filling this roster with likeable smoothers... But like Cedric, a lot of people hope Nick Young is a part of the Lakers future too...

And aside from that, Nick Young can score but he doesn't have the BBall IQ Cedric had, and doesn't play Defense like Ceballos. They're impact will probably be similar... With an edge to Ceballos.
