Yeah I'm planning on getting it this year for the 5 team pass since I also want to watch the Bulls games. My creditcard gives me a number generator that's only good for 1 month so I could buy with that and not have to deal with auto renewals.

I'm in college and I don't think I'll have a TV. And even if I do, i don't think the cable will carry league pass. Is there an online/mobile/tablet version? If so, is that cheaper? And is it worth it?

i don't know why you guys bother with streams, they're unreliable and the quality sometimes sucks, not to mention you'd have to sit through em damn commercials, time-outs and such. ain't no laker got time fo that!

what i always do is i download a free 60 frame per second HD torrent after the game is over, then watch it when i want, how i want. even take a 15 minute cooling off break sometimes when swaggy p makes a bonehead ass play or two.

rojadirecta.me has every single laker torrent from the summer league till the end of the season in it's "full match section". hd-sportbits.org is even better if you're willing to pay a one time donation of any amount, or if you're cheap just keep creating new usernames with fake emails when your 20gb download limit is up, lol, but don't be cheap donate a dollar or two, i think they do the best job on the net when it comes to torrents. They also upload games the quickest. on rajadirecta you'd usually have to wait an hour and a half or so, but it's free and of the same quality.

didnt read through the whole thread, so sorry if this was already mentioned. do not get league pass. buy a ballsteams account instead. http://www.ballstreams.com

ive been using it for 2 years now. it was 60 bucks during the summer and 90 once the season started. basically, you get EVERY GAME FOR EVERY TEAM, either live, or you can watch them again at any time after since theyre all saved to their on-demand bank (a year package gets your 365 days of access)

and this includes laker or clipper games that would be blacked out normally by league pass. the quality of the streams is fantastic, and youre not only limited to watching on your computer or phone. they have apps for playstation, xbox, roku, etc.

its seriously the best investment (and actually less of an investment that league pass) for a die hard NBA fan.

---

this also included all summer league games. im not sure if you still need an invite to sign up, but for my fellow basketball lovers, i can give out invites. let me know

How reliable are these? I mean if the NBA gets pissed off at them and decides to close them down..

i believe they address that concern on their site, and dont quote me on it, but i think they said if that happened theyd refund your money

they work out of the netherlands, i believe, so i dont think the NBA has any jurisdiction there. I havent had any issues using ballstreams, at all. and theyve been doing the same thing with the NHL for a handful of years.

with leaguepass being soooo shiiity for what they force you to pay, i just wanted everyone to at least know about ballstreams. and for those of you who are diehard fantasy bball guys, this is a must.

Sounds awesome, now I'll look into it, I had instead planned to order the 5 team LP but $90 for all games sounds excellent if I can play it off my PS3 and use laptop to post on RealGM.

Isn't there a point where they offer free league pass for a week or 2? I remember getting it last year, as well as a few years back.
Other than the local blackouts here in Toronto, I had no other issues with it. The quality was great on my laptop. If they provide some free league pass, try checking it out first and see if it's good for you

Also, I've heard of ballstreams before, but never really bothered to look into it. Maybe check that out, sounds like a better deal.

It's been a godsend for me liking well outside the West Coast. One of the great advents of modern technology as far as I'm concerned. I tried to go without it for a few years and do the live stream thing but it totally sucked; so unreliable and poor quality. Enjoy being able to just sit on my couch and watch any game I want in beautiful HD on my big screen.

I'm in Sydney Australia and only have WIFI modem to which I can use on laptop and Ps3/TV
I could go to the sports club to watch the games, but most of the time they are being played during the day here and I work during the day:(

I looked on NBA com ... and they have NBA League pass for $30 a month and I'm considering getting it.
Just wondering if it's worth it or if you know of any other way of watching Games Via Net?

Can't wait for this season to start already

Cheers

If you can get it - its worth it. As long as its within your budget.

If you like basketball, I'll say get it, I have and love it personally, have had it for years, but I watch every team play. Its great on roku if you have one btw. You can get the pure broadband service and watch on roku I believe, which is even more reliable stream wise than the gametime app on TV. Save yourself a couple bucks, watch every team, long as you have one of those boxes and get every game in HD.

I have the TV package, which includes everything, and that comes in handy because when I'm at families house who just has an over the top box, we can just watch a game like that without problem and in hd.
