Can't see the Suns going for any S&T deal unless they get blown away or Bledsoe is serious about "buying" his way out.

They have no interest in any of the others either. If Milwaukee is holding off on the execution of the Bayless contract with the notion the Suns will accept these players for Bledsoe, they are in for a monumentally long wait. Not going to happen.

I can't envision a scenario where we would S&T Bledsoe to any team. Even if he were to tell them he's not going to sign and he hates it here there just aren't going to be really that great of offers in a S&T deal. I can't even recall a recent S&T where the team trading the RFA got great value.

Worst case he takes the QO and we still would be the team that can offer him the most money when he's an UFA or we could trade him midseason. Even that sounds unlikely, he'd be a lunatic to forgo nearly 50 million guaranteed when he's already had an injury history.

Wouldn't be surprised if they're haggling over an extra year on the contract or for something like an extra couple of million per year.

To answer your question Mlloyd, the bucks have nothing that they are willing to give up to get Bledso. KNIGHT, Henson, Mayo and Illy are all directly responsible for the worst record in the league... nobody wants those dudes. The Suns want to keep him or trade him for actual assets, and we do actually hold the leverage because there is no one bidding against us and we own his damn rights. No way in hell he takes the qualifying offer and leaves all that money on the table risking possible injury.

I do know something based on what I have heard here from the Suns statements and what those close to Suns situation are saying - here in PHX. The Suns will not trade Bledsoe in a S&T unless a star or player with star potential is returning. None of the players you (and other Bucks fans) are proposing fit that criteria. Sorry they simply do not. If the Bucks want to get the Suns attention in a sign and trade (assuming Bledsoe even entertains the notion of playing for the Bucks) they will have to come to the table with either Parker or Giannis. Nothing else on your team is even remotely interesting.

If we are willing to give him $12M/yr, they have to offer more than that. Plus they can't offer him quite the max he wants either.

After reading this, i will stop listen to you...Did you even watch bucks games last year???? Probably not...The reason why we sucked so much was because of Larry Drew and Herb Kohl.....Knight played pretty well, but his best role is a jason terry role. Henson never played because of drew. When he did, he put up decent numbers. He had games of 19/17, 25/14, 18/13, 20/14, 20/15, 20/11, 23/9. Mayo was fat and out of shape, he didn't play much after december and Ilyasova was hurt all of last year and our lovely coach still played him. Remember, in 11/12 and 12/13 he was a 13/8 player shooting 45% from 3 playing less than 30 mins per game
