Dude, you're crazy if you think it takes them a full six games to beat Dallas. Wiz in 3 -- at the most.

This is what I already predicted yesterday or the day before so letting it ride.

54-28

Top 3 in the conference.

Making it to the 2nd round again. From there, not sure yet.

I might dial it back a couple games later. Well see.

I think AFM might have it right at 52

What the hell. 52 and I'll upgrade later instead. 52-30

Best Wizards team since 1975

Bonus prediction.

Spoiler:
The same people here will still be complaining.

Bonus Bonus Prediction
Wall and Beal both make the AS game

I know you are messing around but ....

Dallas is a destiny team with Dirk on the way out. That would be brutal to meet them in the finals.
SAS or DAL. Going to be near impossible for an East team to win next year.

We would beat the Nets and Paces though if we run into them like that.

ECF against the Bulls. That might be where it stops.

Just like how the Redskins haven't been able to eclipse the 10 win mark for the past few decades, im not going to bet on the Wizards hitting 50 W's. Doesn't mean we won't be really good though. I just don't see us beasting the reg season. Hope I'm wrong!

CAN HE DO IT AGAIN? (the sig)

I'm going to say 53 wins, no lower than top 3 in the East.

Well, in fairness, we took Mike Pence off their hands. Taking back Mahinmi is the least they can do.

I'll make my final prediction in October, but for now, I'm leaning toward 46 wins. I think the loss of Ariza is going to hurt more than the addition of front court depth will help. I also don't expect Wall and Gortat to stay completely injury free like last year. The only reason I expect some improvement is that I think Beal is going to make The Leap.

RealGM crapped out before i could post my reasoning

There is a lot more parity in the East

I think the swap of Ariza for The Truth and Ottomus Prime is a wash. We may struggle early to find our rhythm, but with a full training camp i think this will be minimized.

Front court depth is fantastic. If Nene goes down, we shouldnt lose as many as we normally would.

There were... how many games that went into overtime? Easily 10 or 11 right? We lost a majority of those last year. This year: less OT, hair-pulling, stress-inducing losses. We have a closer in Pierce and Beal should show up as well.

If Wall goes down, well, we're boned. But thats usually what happens to a team when their star player becomes injured.

Tempted to say, we are the Wizards so you know something will go wrong (injury, disappointing star, etc.) and they will finish 40-42 but I will predict 46-36 and playoffs. It's so rare to have an offseason where I come out of it feeling extremely positive about the moves our GM has made that I am being carried away (in my own pessimistic Wiz fan fashion) by euphoria.

48 is the call right now. Better depth to withstand inevitable injuries. Improvement from Wall and Beal. Addition of two redshirt rookies who look like they are ready to contribute in Otto and Rice.
