Xavi has decided to remain at Barcelona until at least January and possibly until the end of the 14-15 season.
Xavi still has two seasons reamining on his current deal with Barcelona and had been linked to a move to either New York City FC or to Qatar.
The negotiations with Xavi's new potential club did not produce a contract worth as much as Barcelona deal.
