This just makes me feel like we as fans didn't know how good we had it with him. He started off with a damn jog with everyone in front of him and within half second beat everyone down the court.

If anything I feel Wall being added knocks out Lillard. I just feel like Derrick has too much going for him and that's why he'll make it. He has the experience, almost 2 years of rest, and has the respect and favor of every coach on that staff.

OK...so D-Rose needs THAT much of an advantage now? Got it lol

There's even more blocks on Youtube...James has gotten him plenty of times since even Cleveland.

And Rose has gotten James plenty of times too. Let's just leave it at they're even.

i think it's just about him playing well and showing signs of the burst and speed he had in the past.

i think i'm a little more pessimistic about derrick going forward than others. i don't think he'll ever be what he was athletically, but he still can be a really good player with diminished athleticism. i'd rather see some maturity in his game but i don't know how since he has hasn't played any real games. there's only so much watching game film can accomplish.

if he makes the team, which shouldn't be a given at all, i'd rather see him play well off of others. hitting open jump shots, playing with pace coming off of ball screens, penetrating to pass more, taking what the defense gives him and getting that mid-range back. defensively i think he'll be fine, but i do not want to see what i saw out of him last yr when he came back. i thought he played like an idiot. i was hoping to see the maturity in his game coming into last yr. what he talked about coming into the season gave me that false impression. he pressed, overcompensated, trying to prove that he had not lost anything athletically and i think that contributed to him getting injured again. if he learns anything from the team usa experience, i hope he learns to dial it back a notch. the bulls aren't team usa, but i think they're in a situation to NOT need MVP rose in order to be contenders.

I have no clue what you're talking about.

The video game has james chasing him down when Drose is in the clear lead, not when Lebron is side by side to him.

If Drose gets run down from anyone when he has that big of a lead ahead, then the Bulls are screwed.

And you can keep your attitude and lols to yourself.

We'll see. 10 games wasn't big enough to know if he would ever be the same athletically. He showed his speed still in the open court, but was a little off on his cuts and such.

I would imagine that it was going to take bit longer to get that back.

I think if Rose plays like he did last time with team usa, he will make it. Coach K really gave props to him for his role last time.

It's just a wait and see thing at this point.

I don't have an attitude at all bro.

Sorry you feel that way. This isn't some matter in which I truly care about honestly lol. James has gotten the best of D-Rose at times, point blank period. He should, he's 6"8, fast and athletic.

No reason for you to get emotional my friend.

8-)

Keep the peace.

Nobody is emotional Lebron is good at blocking people from behind when they don't see him coming. What really would have impressed me is if he blocked this first dunk attempt.

Looks like the Blue-White intrasquad (?) game will be shown at midnight, 12:00 am Friday, Aug 1 (i.e. or early Sat morning depending upon how you view midnight). Re-broadcast at 9:00 pm Saturday, Aug 2 (CST or EST ???).

It would, but at this stage I'd take it if both the Salvation Army and Yoda were involved in getting him back to form.

What weird timing. It is live? I guess that's feasible; a 9:00 p.m. local start.

*Edit: It's not listed as live and that is midnight, on Friday, Eastern time.

I really hope he makes the team. That would be the first step in the right direction (back to stardom).

I really hope and pray.

Hopefully, but teammates said the same thing about him before. I want to see it with my own eyes and see him put together a couple of good games. Then I will kind of breath a sigh of relief. Not fully, because then I want to see him last without getting hurt again.
