Did the same thing with Deng and literally got nothing for him.

Taj may be the new Deng on this board (we love him and want to hug him and hold onto him), but it appears the FO thinks differently. They were willing to move him to make the Melo acquisition happen (although having him at the meeting was dumb IMO), and they were willing to move him for Love.

IMO Taj is definitely odd man out with Gasol and Mirotic here, its only a matter of time before he is a goner.

Wasn't there a Iggy for Deng swap on the table (When he was still with the 76ers)? I was praying for that to happen, would have taken a lot of pressure of Rose.

Thats the truth. Mirotic is the future if people like it are not. Just like when Butler stepped up, Deng was a goner. Taj is next

We're not talking about some lotto pick here with upside. He was the 26th pick in the draft and a 4 year player at USC. That 13 & 6 are likely the best you're going to get from Taj.

Considered the biggest reach in the draft by most... BY CLEVELAND. Who the F cares where he was drafted? We've seem him play for two years now and in that time he has been lazy, fat, has weak efficiency numbers acroos the board, and to boot he is a known head case and malcontent.

That is crock of BS.. he improved more the last 4 months of the season just 6 months ago, than he ever has.

Also, his numbers every time he has started, and his nmbers every time he has to play big minutes, would completely shatter your argument that 13 and 7 is some ceiling for Taj. He's a hard worker, he's smart and still has upside. His game will improve as he gets bigger minutes, just watch. Whether it's here or somewhere else. If it's it's elsewhere , I'm pretty sure we'll be wishing we didn't trade him if what we got was Kevion Martin Dion Waiters, both or any combination them and another inferior PF.

U guys are penciling taj as a goner ,why we got 3 bigs? Gasol is what 34? Cmon now. I kno taj has been a part of rumors but gasol wont be here 4 ever. Then what will u do 4 a 3rd big? At least you'll have a malcontent sg thats barely starting caliber right?

The sg position for the bulls is what the qb position was 4 the bears.
The bulls have a starting 2 in jimmy. Mirotic may b ur new 3. One of his strengths is guarding little players around the perimeter.

No way we're trading Taj for scrubs like Martin and Waiters. All the Taj, Butler, Snell, Rose and Hinrich bashing has been a sorry sight..

yeah, more insults..Nate was a head case and malcontent also...

Hell, I WISH we had a fat *** SG that could dunk, run the floor, shoot and handle like this dude. Fortunately, he isn't fat at all. You're just reaching.

Who's bashing Snell? He's done nothing as of yet..

Hinrich is old and has been overpaid but Bulls brass for years now...I understand

Butler can't shoot..I get it

Rose hasn't played in years..I get it

Taj is just a bit above average..i get it

Bashing? I don't see that. I just seen a strong and proud fan base that have high expectations, and with good reason.

I believe he's the GM as well as the head coach. Just checked: He's the President of Basketball Operations.

Jimmy's as good or better at all those things. Except shooting, but Jimmy also was a better shooter his 2nd year. If Jimmy's gets back just between two seasons ago and last season from 3, it'll be good enough paired with MDJ or McD. Rose and Jimmy have to be threats from three, but not elite. And even in a bad season, Jimmy still a higher TS% and he's 10x the defender. He's just a better basketball player , by a lot.

Gibson is not going to be traded for an average shooting guard ... If he is traded, he will be part of a package for a top quality starting shooting guard ... Butler might also be a part of that package, if we are talking about a real top quality shooting guard ...

If the Bulls trade Gibson for Waiters, GarPax should be immediately fired for not only making the team worse but also significantly strengthening the team's biggest foe in the East.

Thankfully GarPax are not that stupid.
