Personally, I like KCP more than BMac, but you're still talking about getting a coveted player, a decent player, and an expiring to get Josh Smith off this team. You take that and run.

Not sure if I'd prefer Ray M or BMac. McLemore is just plain stupid, which is going to be an issue in his development. Seems like a good kid, though -- just dumb. I'd take either.

I would much rather keep Smith than trade him for the Kings garbage. If we aren't dumping his deal outright than it makes no sense to move him for junk, his value can only go up at this point whether he starts at the 4 or gets benched altogether, his contract is getting shorter as we speak.

I think you're right about Stauskas. It's just wishful thinking on my part.

I don't think that the Kings will get rid of McCallum. It would leave them too thin at the point (if they dumped Terry as rumored in trades with the Pistons).

I'm not very enthused about McLemore at all. You're right on point regarding his intelligence. He's athletically gifted but can't seem to take the obvious steps (such as setting your feet before shooting) to fix the holes in his game. It's either due to stubbornness or downright stupidity. I'm not sure which is worse.

You think the combined value of (McLemore or McCallum), Williams, and Thompson is less than zero? That's more than a little crazy.

McCallum would be a decent pickup but we would have to take on garbage to match salaries, I would prefer cap space and/or flexibility.

They like Gay, and I don't think they'd have any interest in Jennings at all.

Good. Should we get #BringRayMacHome trending on twitter?
