It's ZacH LAvine.

Id be pretty happy with just Lavine for Thad. But we'd have to take back someone like J.J. Barea too.

Waiters I think is unrealistic since Wiggins would have to go to Minnesota and then that would leave Cleveland without any SG's.

The Memphis 1st would be great too. Miami 1st wouldn't be bad either.

Getting Young to replace Love is like getting Deng to replace James.

What if we threw in Wroten and Thad to get Waiters and Bennett.
Wolves get Thad, Wiggins
Cavs get Love

Zach and the other young guns are untouchable.
We're semi-rebuilding so it doesnt make sense to trade a top prospect
it will probably be a salary dump with the Sixers getting a 1st

I agree it is stupid for the Wolves to do but great opportunity for the Sixers

The Cavs will probably sign Ray Allen and maybe we can package Wroten or a SG for them

i think Cavs wont make Waiters a throw in
Wiggins + Bennett for Love works.
Wolves take less salary while Cavs give out one less assett. I think if Wolves and Sixers will talk,it will be on a separate deal

I think it's pretty certain if Cavs deal Wiggins they keep Waiters, unless they plan on taking on Martin as well, which I find unlikely particularly when they know we could easily take him on and they could keep Waiters.

Some guy in that original ESPN article posted this trade as an idea in the comments. seems pretty psychotic and unrealistic but an interesting take nonetheless.

76ERS GET
Dion Waiters
Brendon Haywood
Malcolm Thomas
J.J. Barea
John Lucas

TIMBERWOLVES GET
Thaddeus Young
Tristian Thompson
Anthony Bennett
Joe Harris
Dwight Powell
Matthew Dellavedova
3, 2015 1st round picks, 3 from Cleveland

CAVALIERS GET
Kevin Love
Kevin Martin ( Restructured Contract to spread money over 4 years not 3 )
4, 2015 2nd round picks, 3 from Philadelphia and 1 from Minnesota
3, 2016 2nd round picks, 2 from Philadelphia and 1 from Minnesota

You can't trade your own first rounder. Zach I believe is untouchable, at least in this trade, I doubt the others are however.

Would you trade a 2016 1st rounder for Lavine?

I would absolutely love to be a fly on the wall for that trade negotiation if it came to fruition. Talk about strangely wanting obscure, yet specific, trade pieces.

Thats way too complicated. We don't even have 3 2nd round picks this year, only 2, and if we don't make the playoffs 1 of them go to Boston

We actually do have 3 coming from other teams in 2015, but only 1 in 2016.: http://basketball.realgm.com/nba/draft/ ... s/detailed

My mistake then.

Either way thats way too complicated with the Euro prospects. Especially, when Cleve and Minn can just do the deal without us.

That is a terrible trade for the Wolves and the Cavs make out like bandits to me. Doesn't really matter since there is a zero percent chance this trade happens.
