i honestly don't know much about the internationals. what i've seen i like but I don't have anything extensive on them.

Walker im not that high on because he came off as "just a leaper" and not much of a basketball player. I see he's bulked up quite a bit though. Hopefully he's put some work into beefing up his game as well. He's on the wait and see list for me.

I also need to see more of the Ukrainian from Kansas. I've heard Manu comparisons. Man I can't wait for 2016 and 2017 drafts.

I don't like Walker but Billy Donovan is the coach you'd want coaching Chris Walker beside Jim Calhoun

Yeah Slav is nice. Didn't perform that well at the hoop summit but he has a nice jumper good vision and is athletic enough for the league. I think he's a damn good prospect.

ugh listing by twitter handles is so annoying.

USA Basketball U17 Team: Malik Newman, Ivan Rabb, Diamond Stone, Caleb Swanigan, Jayson Tatum & Devearl Ramsey, Tyus Battle, Henry Ellenson, Terrance Ferguson, Harry Giles, Josh Jackson, V.J. King

PG is thin, but other guys can handle the ball too. i know they used tatum at the point some last yr. newman, battle and jackson can all handle the ball as well.
this is pretty much the u16 team from last yr, swapping out an injured seventh woods for tyus battle, thomas bryant/daniel giddens for swanigan/ellenson. they basically swapped defense for offense, although battle's a solid defender.

i'm looking forward to seeing giles. heard he looked like he's returning to form quickly during the training camp which is great to hear. if that is the case and he can regain his form prior to that devastating injury, then i'll have to tweak some of my rankings. his potential is immense.

There's only one point guard in this squad!!That's pretty crazy.Yeah there are other guards who can handle the ball but that;s not the same as having at least another true pont guard. Not that i'm expecting team USA to be seriously challenged by anyone but still..

chance for some of these guys to showcase playmaking ability. Newman needs to show it anyway. good practice for him.

Anybody think a taller ty lawson is a good comparison for Mudiay? Saw Kyrie Irving and Westbrook thrown around but those are awful, not sure who is a good comparison

faster version of Jrue?

I think Lawson is not as skilled than Mudiay or atleast doesn't play the same way because Lawson thrives more because of his quickness than with his skillset, while Mudiay seems to have a combination of both.

But in terms of skillset, I think Mudiay is comparable to Jrue. Specially how Jrue was coming into the league with a shaky perimeter shooting that shows promise. Both are big, very skilled, not so efficient, promising shooter and good ball hawks on defense. The big difference is that Mudiay is very quick compared to a Jrue who seems to play at one pace but is pretty deceptive specially with the way he changes speed.
There’s never been a time in history when we look back and say that the people who were censoring free speech were the good guys.

Why don't American scouts use the "birthyear" to evaluate prospects like Europe? Josh Jackson is almost a year better than his classmates and doesn't plan on reclassifying.
