A buddy of mine was at practice yesterday, said Tretter looked horrible. He said Linsley looked much better. Yeah it's just practice but our OL is solid everywhere else, hopefully we don't have a big weak link in the middle.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

I'm not sure how you can tell how well our center was doing based on one practice. I'll wait until he's going up against starters in a preseason game at the very least.

One great thing is that our WR route running has been spectacular so far. Adams has been as advertised in that regard. Below are a couple good examples.

I have a feeling DaVonte Adams is going to be really, really good.

Agreed. He was referring to the one on one drills. Linsley held his own, Tretter was getting destroyed. Obviously they see something in him but the guy was injured last year, played for a small school, and didn't play center.

Wouldn't surprise me at all to see Linsley our opening day starting C. All I've heard about him since the draft was that he was a quick learner and really high football IQ guy.

If Bulaga is healthy, I actually think the O-line is going to be one of our biggest strengths this year. EDS was solid but he wasn't worth what Tampa paid him. He's an easily replaceable cog.

I agree that our OL will be a pretty big strength if the starters can stay healthy. A healthy OL would really cement our status as the best offense int he league. Lots of time for Rodgers to find his receivers and massive holes in the running game for Lacy. Yes please.

Agree. Boykin is looking great as well, so we should be quite set at #3 and #4.

I believe both Cobb and Boykin are FA's after this year?

Excited about the WR core, but can't see this group staying together beyond this year given the depth of the position, and the need to re-sign others soon (like Bulaga).

I'd imagine we keep 6 - the obvious 4, plus (my guess) Abbredarius and Harper due to special teams skills. Try to stash Jeff Janis on the PS

Probably stash WR on IR too if they come down with a bad hang nail or something else catastrophic.

I still think it's folly that people had Tretter penciled in as an adequate starting center.

He may end up winning the job, who knows? However... it's been over a year since he's played any meaningful football, he only has two years of OL experience in the IVY League on the outside and prior to that was a TE.

Hope he takes it by the horns, but I have plenty of doubts.

I'm still not sweating it. If Tretter can't pull through we'll just plug Barclay in there instead.

Yikes. Based off last year's camp, Barclay can't snap to save his life..

Rather give Linsley a shot, but it's still WAAAAAY to early to question their faith in Tretter. Let's let him play a few games before making the switch

Snapping a football is easy to learn, it's just constant repetition. I wouldn't mind giving Linsley a shot, but if he isn't up to it at least we know Barclay is a capable blocker.

I anticipate Tretter getting it about the 2nd preseason game and will take off from there. IF however TT made a blunder with Tretter I think Linsley is a better option at C than Barclay.

Worthy had lower back surgery but said he is ready to come back whenever the doctors let him.

"From what Ted's told me, it could be tomorrow, it could be next week, it's just about how the guys are feeling upstairs. So at the end of the day, I'm just trying to do my part to make sure I'm ready to go."

Neal was back today, as was Lattimore. Janis again missed with a strange illness. Perry still out and Lang still rotating in and out of practice. And Burnett tweaked an ankle today.

Perry and Worthy easily the most disappointing so far..

The 2012 draft was so odd for us. The draft for need approach over BPA was obvious going all defense the first six picks. Probably missed on Perry/Worthy, but hit on Hayward/Daniels. Meanwhile McMillian was an epic flop.

I feel like there's still hope for Perry, but Worthy is probably all but done. Hope both can still contribue
