Hmm.. Okay, I can play the game. It's just for fun.

Drummond, Jennings for Batum, Lillard base type .. I'm not going to go into fillers or cap or firsts.

Monroe/Gray
Smith/Jerebko
Batum/Butler/Singler
KCP/Meeks
Lillard/Augustine

:0 Smith/Batum/KCP, very nice 3 - 2way players and then Monroe/Lillard offensive go-to options. Definitely would be a solid team in my opinion.

Drummond should retire a Piston.

I don't think any of the 4 guys I would trade Drummond for would be available.

Westbrook
LeBron
Durant
A.Davis

Yes please.

Westbrook
KCP
Singler
Ibaka
Monroe

Yeah this makes sense the most out of all these proposals

I'd be interested how high Drummond would be on the 2014 Trade Value article Bill Simmons does every year, 20-year-old, super-talented centers who have no real injury problems don't grow on trees. The trade proposed by the OP is laughably bad...how the heck does Phoenix get Drummond and Randle for zero blue-chip pieces? Ridiculous. Phoenix has nothing that can get them Drummond.

Detroit would be dumb to trade Drummond for anything but a massive overpay.

This team would have KD, Ibaka, The Brow, and Moose. It's already a lock for the playoffs....

It's kinda Smith/Moose/Drummond situation though, with Brow/Moose/Ibaka fighting for 2 positions, a bit of an issue, but still a very good team

I'd be willing to bet Simmons doesn't put Drummond as high as we'd expect, he's making it one of his missions to only speak negative about Drummond in hopes of lowering his value for a Drummond-Rondo deal.

Too bad Simmons put a gigantic postage stamp on his writing career once he landed the ESPN NBA TV job and launched Grantland so we'll never know. Even then when he does write it's the Disney/ESPN neutered version.

Back on topic, there's no way we'd get one of Durant / Lebron (who'd leave anyway) / Brow for Drummond and otherwise there's no point in dealing him. If Cleveland offered Kyrie/Wiggins or OKC offered Westbrook/Ibaka then I'd have to say yes, but absent deals landing 2 legitimate all stars or Wiggins level prospects there's no "pieces" deal I'd make given Drummond's ceiling and the fact we control him for (relatively) cheap for the next 7 years.

?????

The internet, where KD, Ibaka, Brow, and Moose aren't a playoff team.

The internet, where history is doomed to repeat itself

Drummond & Jennings for Embid, MCW, Young and Philly 2015 1st top 3 protected top 2 protected 2016 and no protection 2017.

Monroe signed 48 million for 4 years plays C till Embid recovers.
MCW plays PG
Smith moves to PF and Young plays SF and back-up PF.

Detroit takes a chance on Embids full recovery and gets a young PG.
If Embid doesn't recover Detroit gets a high draft pick.

If the new draft rules come in Philly needs to get better.

In once sense, tempting, as that's a lot of value -- a good 1st (likely), Embiid, and MCW + dumping Jennings for Thad Young is a big plus.

On the other hand, it's assuming a TON of risk. Embiid's health, MCW's ability to develop as anything more than a guy that gets stats on a sucky team, and the risk that Philly's pick isn't any good when we get it.

Still tempting, though. That's quite a haul.
