Do you all have any interest in Rondo if Boston decides to trade him?

I have no interest in Rondo, personally I prefer Lawson, especially when most people think the Nuggets should be adding something to him to get the deal done.

What about Raymond Felton for J J Hickson? Their contracts expire the same year. Felton costs little. Felton can opt out at the end of the year. I wonder if it works for you.

Felton forced his way off the Nuggets because he wanted to be a starter, and from what I saw more than likely burned some bridges with the owner, I doubt he will ever be a Nugget again.

@Andy

I am in the minority in this group who would rather have Rondo than Ty. If/when he becomes available I would be aggressive trying to get him, if I were the Nuggets.

IMO he fits what Shaw is trying to establish. We've had this debate on here, but I seem to be the only one who would prefer Rondo over Ty.

Chandler & Faried for Monroe Sign & Trade seems like a great look for both teams.

Eh, Monroe wants the max and he is far from worth the max. And Faried did everything better than Monroe did in the second half of last season. I'll take the chance with Faried and Chandler.

Monroe is best suited as a 5. I doubt we'd have any interest unless McGee is included.

I was wondering how much do you value McGee?

enough to know there's nothing the mavs could offer to get him.

more seriously though, it'd be idiotic from our standpoint to trade him while his value is lowest ever. talk to us next year if you still want him that badly.

Well I was thinking maybe a TC + filler for McGee + filler

Would a TC + Crowder + Wright + 1st for McGee + Chandler + Mozgov work?

are you joking? try to look at it from our perspective and figure out why we'd want those players.

They would bring you 20 m this next offseason, you can go after Gasol. Would it take more picks?

or

what is its McGee + Hickson + Chandler for Wright + TC + Crowder

Why would Denver do either of those deals? If Gasol wants to come to Denver they will have plenty of expiring contracts and young talent to go out and get him, however if he does not want to come here Denver gave up 2 improving centers, a good defensive SF, for a declining expiring TC and marginal bench players with the hopes they can sign someone to a reasonable contract in a year with limited top end talent in the free agent pool. Even in the 1st deal getting a pick likely to be a late 1st is not enough to even get the Nuggets to consider the deal.

Wolves fan here. I've heard Faried's name thrown around in hypothetical trades this offseason? Are you guys actively looking to trade him or just sort of testing the trade waters? I'm assuming this has already been posted somewhere, but I'm wondering what Denver ideally would want for him, if you are looking to move him. I feel like he'd be perfect on the Wolves, but not sure if we have (or would be willing to give up) what would be needed.

The only rumors I have heard involving Faried have been for Kevin Love, last year there were rumors about a Faried straight up for the 2nd overall pick and Faried for Shumpert and a good unprotected 1st round pick for this year. Last year though was before Faried had his explosion the last few months of last season, where he put up 18 and just under 11 after the all star break. In other words I am not so sure they would trade him for anything less than a superstar.

Ah, thanks for the clarification. That makes sense.

Wolves counter with JJ Barea and some throwback Pooh Richardson jerseys.

Return to Denver Nuggets
