I like him a lot too. Seems sort of one-dimensional, but for a guy who is vying for the 14/15th spot on an NBA roster it's not necessarily a bad thing to know he has at least one attribute that's above-average. It also helps that rebounding seems to translate better than most other skills from one level to the next. I think he would be a fine player to have on the roster as an energy guy at worst, forcing Biyombo/Zeller/Vonleh to fight for boards in practice on a daily basis.

Will definitely be in camp. Doubt he makes the team

He could surprise us like Jeff Adrien did a couple years ago, but I wouldn't count on it. I'm pretty sure we use our 15th roster spot on a scrubby third string center even though we have 3-4 players capable of playing spot minutes there.

He may be one-dimensional but it's a good one-dimensional. He puts it back up on his rebounds rather than looking to reset the offense. We could use that, if only to bring a new aspect to practice.

I agree. I definitely don't mind specialists at the end of the bench, at least you know he's bringing something to the table if he's ever forced into action.

It's something I wouldn't mind rubbing off on Biz. Forget being a post-up big, just clean the glass and put it back up.

:o  Someone picking him up is exactly what I am afraid of now. And yes we will wonder why?
When we played Orlando in SL, Josh guarded their centers and actually outboarded them on both ends.
He made most of his free throws and had some steals on defense. I'd send JT and Neal out to LAC for Dudley (trade checker # 6498471 ) and then sign Davis to play 3/4 and split Vonlehs mpg at 4/5. If you give Davis 6-10 mpg a game he will give us 6 points 8 boards every night. I'm telling ya that Josh is Rodman without the orange/yellow hair!

You realize that 8 boards in 8 minutes means 1 rebound per minute, which equates to a per36 of 36 rebounds a game? Goat

What's next for Josh Davis after Summer League? Maybe a training camp invite from the Hornets and then a agreement of terms to play overseas
