Anything less than 3 of 4 would be a disappointment, and 4 of 4 isn't out of the question.
Nick Nurse recounting his first meeting with Kawhi:
“We could have gone forever. (Raptors management) kept knocking on the door and I was like, ‘A couple more minutes.’ Because we were really into it."

The Astros just took 2/3 from the A's, and could have swept them if not for a huge 9th inning comeback by the A's in the 2nd game.

It's not going to be a cake walk.

Can't wait to see Jose Altuve play! He's always fun to watch.

We somehow caught a break and avoided Dallas Cy Keuchel and his left handedness.

Yeah, getting a 4 gamer where you miss the guy pitching like an ace (can't bring myself to just call him that) has to constitute a break.

Now if they'd just have a monster day and divest themselves of Altuve, Carter, Castro, McHugh, Qualls, Sipp, and Veras before 4 o'clock for prospects, then we'll really have a break.

Team is really picking up interest. The Tuesday game in Beantown with Stroman starting had the highest jays tv ratings in years. While I have been watching probably 75% of games all season, I am now marking the Stroman starts on the calendar and setting the PVR just to make sure. Note, away Sunday, better set PVR.

Chad Jenkins en route to join the bullpen. No word yet on corresponding move. Could be Dan Johnson to DL?
That's what she said.

More than likely. With Lind coming back soon they can hold off on making a decision on Johnson.

and we're also scheduled to miss Iwakuma and Felix against the Mariners on the road, combined with how few lefties we've faced(and are facing) we're starting to get a bit lucky.

After 20 straight years missing the playoffs, I'm okay with luck being on our side for once.

Unfortunately, luck isn't with us against the Orioles, with Buehrle-Hutchison-Happ pitching in that three game series. They could always use the off day to bump Happ and push Dickey up a day to pitch the 3rd game, but that still leaves out Stroman.

This year, the Jays have been good at getting up for division rivals but against other teams such as these..., they haven't always taken care of business.

Apparently Cosart's been traded so not sure who we're going up against tonight.

Why is Valencia playing vs. RHP?

Kawasaki doesn't approve.

How do we pay more for Dickey, then tigers for Price?
