My_Lo: Not sure you got my offer via email...

Deron Williams or Josh Smith & #3 for Andrew Wiggins

If not, just let me know and I will make my pick.

I tried to trade with him too, and he was pretty stoked on keeping Wiggins...

Keepers: Parker, Westbrook, Thompson, Lee, Valanciunas

I think we need better direction here guys. I don't see a protected list, didnt see a date when they were due, no date listed of draft start times....come on you cant just wing it

Not participating in the game but just stopped by to say we are starting a new GMAT game on the T&T Games board that is really fun. We need 5-10 more players. The thread to sign up in is titled "Summer League Part 2 Sign-Ups"

The game is a lot of fun and I promise you anyone who plays will enjoy it!

Hi guys,

I am replacing Curtis from last year. Funny as we practically have the same name. I posted my keepers before but I will post them again as I am open to trade offers.

Keepers:
Blake Griffin
Rudy Gay
Kawhi Leonard
Dwight Howard
Eric Bledsoe

I know that I am new, but in the future, having a scheduled draft day(s) and being notified about the date at least a few days in advance works best for me. I appreciate you having me and I look forward to a lot of fun.

Thanks,
Curt

Pick #3 is on the block. Send you offers to jeremy @ moviemarbles.com ASAP. If I cannot get a deal struck in the next few hours, I will make my selection.

Question for BWW - If I trade my pick for a player, I assume that this player falls outside of my 5 keepers?

That's because I haven't asked for a list yet. And the draft start has been up on the page for about three days now.

I don't think we need a list of keepers until the rookie draft is over. I mentioned that last week in the thread.

If everyone will just keep checking in every other day of so, and read the updates on the thread, I think we'll be fine.

Hmmmmm, good question. How do you think that should work?

On the one hand, we could say if you trade a pick for a player, you have to include that player as a keeper to keep him, so he takes one of your 5 spots.

On the other hand, we could say the player you picked acts like the drafted rookie, and thus essentially creates a 6th keeper for you.

Thoughts everyone?

I prefer the second...
The player you picked acts like the drafted rookie, and thus essentially creates a 6th keeper for you. This could potentially change the direction if I trade #3 or not. When can we make a call by?

Right now. We'll go with the second option.

One last question for BWW. I had $180 left over after last season... Does that give me $180 for this years auction style draft?

Fran, I will get back to you on your offer once BWW has confirmed my question.

jfrost wrote:From the original rules posted last year...

Unused cash may be carried over to subsequent drafts. But, unused cash will NOT be applicable to waiver wire pick-ups, which will have its OWN budget on Yahoo.

So, if I understand correctly, everyone gets $100 each season for the auction. If you have cash left over from the previous year, it adds to your $100. So I would have $180 to spend this draft ($100 this year plus $80 from last year).

bww78 wrote:Thanks Jeremy. That is correct.

So we have to go back to last season's draft for carryover amounts, not the waiver wire budget.
